Initial communications with Phil and Nicola was great. The apartment is comfortable and everything you need. Also included the best towels 😊 so big and fluffy, some essential bits that some apartments don't offer (salt pepper tea coffee washing up/cleaning materials etc). Location was good, close to the harbour, high street and train/bus station. On leaving, we accidentally left some clothing behind and Phil kindly called us to tell us but we was a long way away so he arranged the next day to post it to is. Such great service. Thank you Phil

The hotel is situated in a beautiful area with plenty of car parking facility. Clean and spacious room. The reception and dining area is modern: good layout throughout. Overall we received excellent customer service and enjoyed a good selection of breakfast.

The cooked breakfast was good. There was plenty of options and it was nicely cooked. Danish pastries and croissants would have been nice as another option.

My hotel room was awful. There was toothpaste on front of sink basin and a crack. There was also a crack in the bath which had been repaired with a white filler. The bathroom suit was advocado in colour. It wasnt clean. The curtains wouldnt close as a hook was missing and there were holes in the curtains. When I complained and asked to be moved to another room, the guy on reception wasnt helpful and said they didnt have another room but would offer a refund if I wanted to leave. I was going to the theatre within half an hour of speaking to him and wouldnt have been able to find anything else at short notice. I thought that by using Booking.com that the hotel would have been at an acceptable standard. This was not acceptable. Other areas of the hotel were also tired and dirty.

Lovely staff , nice touch was a glass of wine on arrival. Lovely restaurant and beautiful roast dinner and cooked breakfast.

Our room was in the house next to the hotel and it wasn't the best. Decorated to a tidy enough standard but it smelled musty and unused and the bathroom had an unpleasant smell that didn't go. Needed a new bathroom door. Bed was very uncomfortable. It had no wifi at all unlike the main hotel building.
