The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

We had two single beds. The mattresses were so hard it was impossible to get a good nights sleep, we both had sore backs in the morning. 4.30am another resident decided to get up and get ready for work (I think). The noise was unbearable. Sounded like they were moving furniture for a solid 45 minutes. Did manage to get back and have broken sleep after this. One of the windows didn’t open.

Great location for Bodnant gardens, comfortable room if a little small, excellent breakfast & friendly staff.

Unfortunately our booking coincided with a corporate event so the restaurant was closed and breakfast on our first morning was chaotic with no sign of housekeeping either. No warning of this when we booked so had to drive to Conwy for food. Erskine Arms and Jonny Dough's at the Bridge were both excellent though so will stay in Conwy next time. No driving in the evening and cheaper drinks...

The pub is still in need of modernisation but work is in progress and our room was lovely and clean .

The location is really good for walking into Ullapool and there is good parking for several cars.

The accommodation was ok for one night's stay but it is in need of some TLC to make it feel comfortable to relax in.

Excellent location, spacious apartment ,well equipped kitchen. Good quality bed linen and towels.

The couch was uncomfortable and hard. Many light bulbs were not working including in the main room where the lights flickered and went off, consequently we had to rely on a lamp. No wifi information was obvious and we had to locate the router and look for the numbers, some of which were faded. When calling the only contact number listed for assistance we were told that they were only the agents and we should contact Airbnb but we had booked through booking.com. A promised follow up call did not eventuate. The apartment information folder was not easy to find and full of old flyers and mail from previous tenants. The lobby was full of old papers and rubbish so first impressions were not great.

The setting was wonderful, the room was beautifully appointed.

The shower over the bath was a problem because I was concerned about slipping and it was awkward to get out of. Fine for people who are younger and more agile. Would have appreciated a suitcase support.

It was convenient for me to get to and from.

The decor and facilities do require updating from the Holiday Inn fixtures and fittings, but the motel is marketed as budget, you can’t have everything.
