Certainly a place an AVgeek would love. The small touches like postcards in room and great amenities like shaving razor and cream were much appreciated. The "secret" rooftop terrace where you could sit and watch operations at the airport 24/7 was wonderful. Staff were all lovely - one manager was even greeting people outside and leading them in to the lobby.”

The best is you can see the sea from your bed. The morning is beautiful. The best place for breakfast is only 50 meters from the house. Many good restaurants are 5 minutes by walk.”

  One of the best feature of the hotel is the spa facilities, highly recommended, with steam room, sauna, salt room, hydro pool etc, I could have stayed all day. Comfy bed and a quiet and good nights rest room size was larger than expected for a standard room, I will certainly return.

  There was a fowl odour as you entered reception, smelt like sewage from the adjacent toilets. Not a good first impression. Duty manager on reception was very accommodating with even allowing an extra hour for late checkout although he knew I'd arrived at 3am in the morning. So missed breakfast to try getting my full quota of sleep.

  We liked the quiet ambiance of the room overlooking a small courtyard separated from the main building and the rural setting. The Inn is in a good location for reaching areas in Fife including St Andrews and the Fife coast.

  The breakfast was fine but had no wow factor. When booking we missed the requirement in Booking.Com's screen for the number of people, so taken by surprised when we had to pay extra. Should this be more prominent when booking?

  The location of the property was great for what we needed. Parking was next to the property which was also helpful. Bathroom was clean.

  Unfortunately the property was not fully equipped. There was only one full cutlery set, which for a four bedroom house was surprising and inconvenient. There was also dirty bowls and tea spoons in the dishwasher from a previous guest and half an eaten baguette in the cupboard. Some of the bedrooms didn’t have curtains and the carpet was very stained (I’m sure this could easily be sorted with a deep clean).
