  The location was ideal. The set up of cottages and the large chess board were great for the kids. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect for us. It was modern and very clean. Getting a later check in worked well for us arriving from Scotland. Being able to contact the owner easily.

  There were no sharp knives for preparing food for dinner. Someone coming in to replace toilet rolls and towels when we were out. We could have easily texted if needed.

  The cottage was lovely and clean, nicely decorated, spacious and well equipped. It was ideally situated just a short walk into the centre of Alnwick but really quiet and in the countryside. I thought the Prosecco and biscuits left for us were a lovely touch. Amanda the owner was very helpful.
