We enjoyed absolutely everything about staying at Corran, Fort William, it’s in a really lovely location overlooking the Loch, has ample parking close by and the flat is modern, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen is also very well equipped, the beds large and comfy and a nice modern bathroom. Fort William is just 10 minutes down the road, with the famous “Jacobite train” which goes over the Glenfinnan Viaduct available to book, also eateries and a good supermarket. Add to this Ben Nevis and the beautiful valley of Glencoe close by, it’s a great place to visit.

The location was perfect for walking to beach , bus , shops , restaurants . Our host Stephanie was a true gem She made us a tasty breakfast each morning and gave us hints on how to navigate our way on the buses out of town . She made us feel welcome and resized in her home . Stephanie also did our washing for us as we were unable to find any facilities . The facilities were everything we needed

Breakfast ok but busy so dishes of hot food lacking. Pleasant surrounds with water although goose poo on paving stones at entrance and not cleaned the next day. Staff v pleasant and attentive but think there was a staff shortage.

Room 139 lighting v gloomy and difficult to see air conditioning control - had to use a torch. We had to take two bedside lightbulbs to reception to be changed as neither worked. They were replaced v quickly. ++. No bright light anywhere and a tree outside the window blocked the light. Pillows not comfortable.

The room was worn in particular the carpet wasn’t too clean. The shower handle falls off. The so k doesn’t drain properly and needs attention. The room was on the 2nd floor and the rain makes it sound like a constant shower running onto the flat roof outside of it. There was a terrible language going on for 2 hrs after midnight in a neighbouring room but obviously no fault of the hotel. Overall not a good stay.
