  The Whitehall guest house was clean , comfortable and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are amazing with lots of variety of choice. Buffet ,and,or full cooked breakfast etc. Beds are super fresh and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay, and we will go again. . Very relaxing little break. Thank you all at the Whitehall.😊 ❤️. Xx

  Lovely friendly hosts, brilliant location (esp for fell walking), the peace, the birds on the many feeders, the animals (esp the 4 collies & 2 cats! as well as the ducks chickens sheep cows etc. The fresh eggs!

  The staff were all very friendly. We had a huge room with lake view. The standard of food in the restaurant was very high. Breakfast was fantastic. The gym is one of the best I’ve been in in a hotel.

  Parking close to the hotel is limited and it can be difficult to find a spot. Most rooms are in annexes; and the restaurant and spa facilities are all in separate buildings meaning it could be tricky in winter. No air con in the room: it was warm & stuffy. We had a very long wait at dinner , being told by staff ‘everyone has come at once’! The pool is functional. Sauna & steam room rather cramped. Crazy golf course needs an upgrade/maintenance.

  Key safe was difficult to open, not clear which was the right key safe for the flat. Provision of a cafetière would have been nice. Sink in bathroom could also have been a little bigger, it was a little on the small side.
