The best place to feel the spirit of Quebec! The hosts are very responsive and contactless checkin is so convenient. They also let us leave the luggage earlier which gave us some time to explore the city before checkin time. We had a fridge in the room which was very handy. I had to do a last minute booking for this property because I was scammed at other place and it was a divine intervention for sure, I am so happy we got there.”

  We were very pleased with the warm hospitality of our host, who kindly assisted us with parking our large rental vehicle. The guesthouse retains its traditional character and is impeccably clean. Our rooms were well-appointed, featuring en-suite bathrooms, televisions, kettles, and comfortable beds. Breakfast was both varied and delicious, offering homemade jams or a full Scottish option. Perth city centre and its restaurants are within easy walking distance. Before our departure, we were charmed by a nearby historic garden opposite the cricket club. Overall, this establishment offers excellent value for money and exemplifies the warm welcome we experienced throughout Scotland.

  The cottage was in a stunning location, very easy to find and easily accessible from major road routes. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The major attraction was the beautiful gardens; I really felt like I was a princess in a palace. A 15 minute walk to the nearest pub which had amazing food. Also around a 20 minute walk to local footpaths and tourist attractions.

  The location was great, easy access to the south bay beach, shops, cafes and restaurants and other public transport links. The apartment is very modern and clean, a great size.

  The sofa bed in the living room is very small for two people. Thankfully we had two boys sleeping there, but had it been two adults it would have been too small and uncomfortable. Also, the location of the key box, although not far from the apartment, if you are arriving late at night or if English is not your first language (like our family who were staying in the apartment) it could be a little difficult to find.

  Can I just start by asking why booking.com keeps referring to my booking as a couple, despite the fact that I booked for myself - ie. one person? From the outside the building looks as though it could do with a facelift. Lighting in room was quite dim, even in areas with mirrors. It would be better to have a bright central ceiling light. Some coasters for hot drinks would be useful, otherwise you have to put hot drinks on the wooden tables.

  The bathroom was not suitable for our stay due to cleanliness eg hair around the wash hand basin, toilet seat loose, toilet pan/cistern leaking, behind the toilet pan was extremely dirty, dirty grout behind the shower. radiator off in both bathroom and bedroom. It had a free standing oil heater in the bedroom. extremely dirty behind the beds. Did point this out to the owner and cleaner but it wasn't rectified. very disappointed with this accommodation and will not be back.
