Everything,the pub was in a lovely location in a beautiful little village called mission & our room was away from the pub, we slept in single beds which were lovely & comfortable & we normally sleep in a king sized bed,loved the extra little touches patio chairs & table outside room & fan which come in handy as it was a warm night & refrigerator with 2 bottles of water & the breakfasts were lovely,I even got my gluten free 1, there's even a riverside walk nearby for walkin our dogs, believe the reviews its a lovely place & both adele & andy are fantastic hosts too & made us feel very welcome, we would definitely stay again..😊

We had a wonderful stay at Honey Cottage. The outside area was a real highlight; we loved sitting at the picnic bench and making use of the BBQ, it was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. Inside, the cottage was lovely and clean, well furnished and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owners were absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. We will be recommending Honey Cottage to our friends and family.

There was a chap on the table near us who requested a simple cheese omelette for breakfast which had been served to him the morning before but this morning was refused because it was not on the menu; seemed a bit petty to me. My breakfast was good but no brown sauce which is not a deal breaker but would have been nice to have had the option.

The breakfast both mornings was excellent. Staff very helpful and attentive. Evening meal was also very good and prepared very quickly. Bar prices were not expensive. Room was clean and tidy and comfortable.

Unfortunately this stay turned out to be a really poor experience for my family and I. The rooms are not as they appear on booking.com. They are really small and cramped. The building is a property that has been renovated to make the most profit out of the space available. Beds were uncomfortable and the two bedroom apartments are not appropriate for four people. The bathrooms are 2m x 2m wide and you can’t even change comfortably in them. There is no room for cases as the space next to the beds does not accommodate this and neither do the wardrobes. We had cases in the kitchen area which we then had to move out of the way of needing to pass. The worst part of the stay was climate control at the property. No air conditioning in addition to the property being recently insulated made for an extremely unpleasant stay. The room temperature reached 34 degrees at one point and at its lowest was 28. We had four rooms and no one slept at all the first night which led to theatre tickets being wasted due to everyone feeling exhausted. The second night after complaints and false reassurance from booking.com that the issue would be dealt with we received air conditioning units that were left inside the rooms. Not attached or plugged in. As there were no sockets close to the windows we couldn’t use them. As a family who travelled with children this is not what we had hoped for. The company having received payment are now ignoring any emails for compensation. I would not recommend to anyone staying with a family. Or even looking for a comfortable stay. There are an abundance of alternatives available in London & in future I will be sticking to hotels with face to face support for issues and air conditioning units.
