  Incredibly friendly hosts, who are very proud of their place and what they offer. Also extremely helpful. I had a problem with my bike (I travel with) and the host went to great lengths to assist me mechanically with the repairing the issue. Not to mention how comfortable and spacious the room was, amazing breakfast, and the setting/location. All round wonderful.

  The chef was sick and no alternative was provided. The rooms were very dusty. I had to change rooms and the new room was still dusty. There was only one chair in the new room, the back legs were not stable. There was nowhere to charge my phone near the bed. I had to unplug the night lamp to charge my phone. The water pressure in the shower was very low.

  Me and daughter stayed couldn't praise it enough I will be staying or full day spar again so relaxing and staff very helpful my daughter had a treatment at the spar and enjoyed every minute.

  The hotel has history and character. The location is excellent. The young woman serving breakfast was exceptionally nice.

  The shower provided only a trickle of water, which came in only two varieties: boiling hot or freezing cold. The breakfast buffet was full English, no "continental" options. Some of the personnel (at the bar and the cafe) were rather sullen. The cocktails served at the bar were stunningly bad. There was not enough parking on site: we had to park our car on a public carpark nearby, which cost us £15.
