Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London, hotel in London

Located on the South Bank of the Thames, Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London is set opposite the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, on the South Bank.

Very smart hotel, with a modern aesthetic. Felt at home, with a thoroughly warm welcome from the staff at the door, and at reception. The suite we stayed in was an upgrade, and had the most incredible views of the London eye.

All the tourist attractions. All the hustle and bustle of the city. The tube. Thing i and everyone else have been saying for years is the lack of toilet facilities on the tube and around the tourist attractions. For the amount of people going through London every day the lack of toilet facilities is unbelievable. I also wouldn’t recommend hop on hop off buses you are better to get the tube

I have been to London many times and there are always new places to visit each time! The underground or if you don't mind walking makes everywhere accessible. Recommend see changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace. Lots of different parks , some with water , historic buildings etc. Amazing pancakes at CA Japanese pancakes. Always like to visit Covent Gardens. This time we used the water uber which I would thoroughly recommend. Look up SRO audiences if you would like to part of a live audience when in London, great experience on the loose woman show. Many free museums to visit too.

We spent 6 days in london, staying at The Tower hotel which is walking distance to Tower Bridge, Tower of London, Tower tube station and Jump on/off stop. Small room but great breakfast. Our goal was to see a wide range of attractions. Our best experiences revolved around learning to use the Underground (tube) system ASAP, and getting a 3-day LondonPass. We anjoyed: Tower of london (crown jewels and armory) and the Tower Bridge Engine Tour. We rode the London Eye and went to the top of the Shard. Spent a day at the Science Museum and checked out the Globe Theater, Greenwhich Observatory and CuttySark. Used the Hop-On/Off bus for 2 days and the Uber Boat for one day. All included in the London Pass. We added a day trip to Stonehenge. We did not get on an "inner circle tour" but the regular access is still pretty good. Recommend getting an early start each day. Most attractions open at 10 and close at 5. Things get much busier in the afternoon. Plan to be at your first attraction at 10, then lunch and then visit another attraction before you get worn out. The Hop on/hop off bus is good for general sightseeing, but it is somewhat unpredicatble and can get stuck in london's killer traffic, so don't use it to get to desinations. Use it to fill in your idle times. BigBus comes with London Pass. They all look simmilar so get the correct route map. The Uber Boat is also a great way to get to specific attractions. It's fast and direct, but be prepared in case there is a cancellation. Best advice... learn the Underground system, get an Oyster card to tap-on/off. Choose a tube App and use it to plan your trips. Taxi from the airport to hotel cost 140 Pounds and took nearly 2 hours because of the bad morning rush hour traffic. Our return trip on the tube took 1:30 and cost 14 pounds. You can avoid most stairs if you have bags. Use your App to find the "stair free" route.

London is a great place to spend a few days, for many reasons, but on this particular trip, we were just passing through. Both Uber taxi drivers were good enough, although on the outward journey, we were dropped off at the wrong hotel, apparently a common error as the 2 hotels have similar names.

The facilities were quite good. It was clean and well stocked. A comfortable bed and simple amenities like coffee and tea made for a good stay. The bathroom was in good order and the desk and closet space held my belongings neatly. I had a good experience of the front desk staff and was comfortable throughout my four night stay. The neighborhood is basically all hotels because it’s so close to good transport and minutes from the city center. Worth the money and I’d stay here again if I go back to London solo.

Room was very cheap for central london on a champions league night. The building and room interiors were really nice, old school english vibe. The staff were extremely friendly. The bed was very comfy. The bathroom was spacious. The room (top floor) was eerily quiet, considering it is 10m from Shepherds Bush underground. The hotel facilities are very bare bones, but we wanted a nice comfy, quiet couple of rooms for a work trip and thats exactly what we got.

The hotel is in a very good location for my needs on that visit. Close to Paddington Station with over ground and underground rail links and close to many eating places but not many food shops except some good stores on Paddington Station concourse. The price is reasonable for inner London hotels. Security felt good with a locked front door and a person usually sat in the office by the door. It was warm and the noise levels were quite low.

The room was always clean and so was the bathroom. The lounge area was small yet amazing. The hotel has certain touches you do not find in other hotels. It feels homey. The location is perfect for exploring London - it's just north of Kensington Park. It's particularly perfect if you're traveling with a toddler, as we were, because of its proximity to the Diana Memorial Playground.
