As probably any European city, London is overcrowded with tourists. Even Hyde park is busy on a sunny day. I can not get my head around the amount of traffic that is on the roads. Went to the theatre and took a bus from Kensington High Street which took an hour but had planned for that. Ate at "Happy" restaurant. Very tasty food at a reasonable price. Entertained by the staff with a Greek dance! They were all very helpful and polite. I always avoid the underground which is always packed and of course you miss the sights. I found London very expensive and very crowded but there are lots of interesting and exciting things to see and do! Regents Park a good place to escape the crowds. Zoo good fun. Camden Market good experience to get your market fix. found it reasonably easy to get around walking.

Be prepared to walk. Suggest hop on off bus We did 2 day deal, do internet might get a % off. First day rode the bus on the different routes to get a feel. Understand you can’t see it all. We had good weather, so did more outdoors. The park by Buckingham Palace was peaceful stroll. Went to Borough’s market which is great! Bring appetite. Saw Hadestown which we saw in States. Great! Smaller venue will make you cry. St Paul’s Cathedral. If you’re young enough to do 500+ steps up for view. Daughter did it. Then go across the street to Cafe Rouge for lunch, coffee/dessert or afternoon tea, very nice bistro. The Tower of London was fantastic. Take the tour, informative and funny. Get in a boat cruise up or down Thames too. We then used Osyter card for trains and buses. All the tourist attractions. All the hustle and bustle of the city. The tube. Thing i and everyone else have been saying for years is the lack of toilet facilities on the tube and around the tourist attractions. For the amount of people going through London every day the lack of toilet facilities is unbelievable.
