Park Plaza County Hall London, hotel in London

Situated on London's South Bank, this modern and family-friendly hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the River Thames and London Eye.

The family room is the nicest and most spacious I’ve stayed in yet. Usually the 4 of us are squeezed into a room but this had so much space and extra facilities such as a mini kitchen area. I also loved how child friendly they were, we had kids activity packs when we arrived and they even gave the kids a giant lollipop which made their day.

I’ve been to London many, many times as it is my favorite city. That most of the museums are free admission never ceases to amaze me (I’m a history buff). As Samuel Johnson said, if you’re bored with London, you’re bored with life!

the good parts -all parks , Musiums are great , -city center are clean and tidy -need to walk all around better for couples not for kids and Bicycle is a great solution for transportation (Watch out for traffic flowing from the left, if you are not get used to it you may have problem) negative comments -too expensive , too crowded -regarding dangers and risks in London city I have not experienced or witnessed any mugging. But I was always careful about that.

That is a tough question to ask, there is so much to see and do in London. I did visit the Victoria and Albert whilst there, I was only there for one day, but am returning in a few days to stay a little longer; I plan on visiting the Tate, the Shard, the National Gallery and Westminster Abbey and possibly a cruise down the Thames.

Last minute booking as had missed my last train home, normally I stay away from Kings Cross as an area as so many hotels are of very poor quality, however couldn't be bothered heading back into central London so took a chance on this. The price was so cheap it almost put me off! But what a pleasant surprise, my room was a good size, it was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and the wifi was perfect. Absolutely nothing to dislike about this place and would happily stay again. For the price you will not find anything better in London.

The Holiday Inn in Kensington London is in a fantastic location, the underground is around the corner from the hotel therefore it is so easy to return after an excursion, there are so many great shops, cafes and restaurants in the area that you will be spoilt for choice during your stay; if you need a bank or the post office they are also conveniently situated not too far from the hotel. The hotel is comfortable and clean, the staff were helpful and efficient. A great place to stay!

Great location. Small room. Clean. If you level your expectations and take a look at the pictures, you will be fine. London is not known to be cheap and also its hotels are comparably lower in quality compared to other European countries (e.g. Germany, Switzerland, Italy)

Nice bar and seating area. Lovely rooms. Exactly what you want from a central London hotel. Only cost £2 more than what Premier Inn and Travelodge wanted for their basic rooms. But, this was obviously 10x nicer.
