We came to Rome as a family of four so the split levels in our room was really nice. The location is close to the Vatican and felt very safe, with lots of food options nearby. The facilities were excellent and the extra touches were very appreciated (bottles of water daily, slippers and robes). It felt like a luxury stay. Less than 10 minute walk to the metro. Highly recommend staying here when visiting Rome and/or the Vatican.

We stayed in Rome for 4 nights in Trastevere.
We stayed in Rome for 4 nights in Trastevere. The area was vibrant and enjoyable. We spent our days touring the incredible sights of Rome and walking the city. It was mind blowing and wonderful. We would all love to come back again.
The best gelato we had was Ciampini. The hazelnut flavour was creamy and delicious. We also enjoyed delicous panini from Antica Bottega di Norcia. There were other very popular panini bars but the lines were crazy long. We found Antica Bottega di Norcia to be so good our daughter insisted we go back for more panceta panini. We had an incredible dinner at Pasta e Vino Osteria in Trastevere. The pasta was delicous. I loved the Cacio e Pepe and watching the chef make the pasta in the window.
We walked everywhere except for catching the tram one day. It was very easy and we were gratgeful to beat the heat for a bit.

All monuments and sightseeing places are great.
All monuments and sightseeing places are great. Too much to see in Rome.
Colleseum, Spanish steps, Trevi fountain Piazza Novolna are must see.
Pizza and pasta were not as great as Naples and Florence, so we were bit disappointed in Rome. Tiramisu anywhere in Italy is worth every trouble.
Walking is easy around Rome, we did not use any public transportation.

Rome was wonderful. There are so many great places to visit! The Colosseum, the Parthenon, Vatican city, many of the Piazzas. Lots of restaurants and fresh pastry shops. There are so many guided tours and the ability to take the metro or a train to see other areas nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Italy.

Amazing history and art, so much to see.
Amazing history and art, so much to see.
Restaurants and cafes everywhere. Look for those with lots of locals and an Italian (rather than English) menu.
Metro system is great but be warned it does not run before 5.30am. This is an issue if you are planning an early train/plane to visit other parts of Italy.
It is crowded so we were wary of pickpockets but we never felt unsafe.
We found Italians generally really friendly. As soon as you say buongiorno they realise you're not Italian and switch to speaking in English. Don't be offended, they are trying to be helpful.
Delicious restaurants within steps from the door. We definitely recommend for a less hectic experience in Rome with quick access to all of the historical sites. The area had a more neighborhood feel to it that was greatly appreciated. The place itself was comfortable, clean, spacious and nicely appointed. In fact, the bed was the most comfortable bed we slept in since our Italy trip started! Guglielmo was easy to communicate with and recommended some really great food options including gelato. I would absolutely recommend a stay!
Our host Francesco was super nice, helpful, and accommodating. It was our first time in Italy and he gave us some good advice we used throughout our trip. The room was fairly basic but had everything needed for a few day stay in Rome. The location was great as well, the neighbor hood felt safe, had several stores, restaurants, and cafes nearby for anything we could need. It was a short walk to the metro and the Vatican, but was far enough away from the tourist areas so it wasn't too loud or busy outside the apartment.
This is my second time in Italy and I always liked to stay close to the central station so the location for this hotel is perfect.
The rooms are great, the host left water and other goodies which was such a nice touch! They also have all the facilities you need in the room and they are perfectly clean.
But the main point here is the staff. The host was super friendly and went above and beyond to help. I followed all his recommendations and had a perfect experience in Rome.
I would definitely recommend this place!
I usually don’t put reviews on booing.com, but this apartment deserve an exception.
The apartment in very good location, where you feel like you’re living in the town, and everything is close. Also, the house has that Italian touch where it has a nice garden with a beautiful and wide living room and nice arts on the wall.
Finally, an advise to anyone going Rome, if you want to live the full Italy experience stay in this apartment as it was the best part in our holiday.
Big thanks for the friendly owner.
Location was great, we walked from the Rome Termini train station, the rooms were amazing and so was the staff. We had two rooms and the accommodations for everyone in our party was more than comfortable. We traveled all over Italy and this was our favorite hotel stay. There were places to eat, shopping and public transit within walking distance. Rome was the busiest city we visited but had the friendliest people. I highly recommend this place, whether you're traveling with family or on business.
Probably one of my best stays in europe and particularly in Italy for that range of price. Staff was very kind, helpful and humble. The room was very clean with all equipments. no noise from the streets since the window is toward the garden. very close to the metro and Roma Termini. and I need to mention while the breakfast was not on the list of benefits I had access to the coffee and light breakfast and also the kitchen tools. I would surely remember this hotel for later when I visit Rome.
If you travel by train, it is convenient, a bit far from classic tourist monuments, if you have good energy to walk, is not a problem. We walked to go and uber to come back. The area looks scary, a bit too dirty, but you have a lot of tourists going by. We stayed in the hotel when we got to italy and when we left, one night each time. I don't think I would stay in this hotel to really visit rome for several days. For a night is more than ok, next to the train station, the staff is very nice!
Omar and the rest of the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. This is an amazing hotel! The staff was always checking on me to make sure I had everything I needed and that everything was ok with the room. Room was very spacious and clean with cute decor. About a 5 min walk to the metro and 5 min walk to the train station. I will definitely stay here the next time I visit Rome without a doubt. Book here! You won't regret it!
I stayed here twice within my 8 night trip to Italy!
Location is awesome! Perfect for those travelling in Italy by train because of proximity to the Roma Termini station and relatively close to main attractions in Rome. Hop On/Hop off stop is right across the street from the hotel as well as the stop for the buses to 2 different airports (7 euros only!!). Last but not least - breakfast. I loved it and it is as good as everyone writes here. I will stay in this hotel next time i am in Rome. PS: The bed and pillows were really nice
My husband and I loved this hotel! We stayed 3 nights and then returned for another 4 nights after traveling to the Cinque Terre region of Italy. The hotel was in a perfect location - the Aventino area is quiet, green, and about a 15 minute walk from the busy sights of Rome. (It is up a hill so be aware of that.) Our room (#830) was beautiful with a huge patio. Breakfast in the courtyard surrounded by orange trees was divine. We will always return to this hotel.
the very helpful staff make me rate this hotel the best one I’ve stay in Italy. we arrived early at 8am , the staff allow me to drop the luggage and give me advise the good restaurants list and they even help to lift the luggage. I feel safe and heart warming they are just like your neighbours, the room is clean and well decorated. hot shower, heater all function well. I’ll definitely come if I would visit Rome again .
We celebrated our 25th Wedding anniversary in Rome and had the private wedding inside the Basilica of St Peter. And staying in this hotel is one of the highlights of our celebration. This is one of the best hotel we had stayed here in Italy and Giulia and the rest of the front office dept are very accommodating and helpful to all our needs. Highly recommended if you will stay in Rome. Grazie mille.
Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay is the Filipino staff name Mary Claire. She is very helpful and cheerful. She make sure that our trip in Italy is fun and safe. Overall, i’m going stay again in this Hotel and i will reccommend this to my friend.
Thanks for making our visit to Vatican/Rome much better.
We were 3rd time in Italy and 1st time in Rome. It was the best experience towards hotels! Highly recommended as everything was just perfect: service, team, rooms, breakfast... simply AMAZING! And the Hotel is super close to the main station, so in only 3 minutes you can reach any place you want! Friendly price for unforgettable experience :)
Perfect location for walking to many highlights of Rome and even 10 minutes from Roma Termini train station making it convenient for catching trains to other parts of Italy. Air conditioning was working well, extra blankets, cheap minibar, nice shower, comfortable bed, secure feeling hotel.
The HS 311 was a cultural Rome hotel. Beautiful art work and white marble. The 24 hour staff members Andrea and Laura where very helpful my whole stay. Breakfast was perfect for the start of the day. One of my best hotels of my trip to Italy, thank you John
The location is perfect and it’s near to the main station Termini that’s gives you access to the main spots in Rome. For the price it was worth it. We had the quadruple room and it was clean and a lot bigger than the rest of hotels we stayed in Italy.
When in Rome we will always stay at this hotel. Absolutely perfect. The best breakfast in all of Italy. Wonderful staff. No complaints whatsoever. Close to all kinds of public transport. Not a very long walk to the old town.
Clean and safe neighbourhood, a lot of restaurants Around, close to The metro station.
Hotel staff was Very nice and helpful.
Recomended for this value of money!
Best hotel we have stayed in Our etire stay in Italy.
We liked everything about this hotel! It was charming with personal attention since it was our first time in Italy and that made us feel safe. Rooms were immaculate, location was perfect and breakfast was amazing!
