Excellent hotel! Really clean, and extremely convenient for early flights out. The restaurant is actually a decent restaurant. While we could hear airplanes taking off occasionally, it wasn't particularly loud. Little touches of humor here and there, too. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone flying out of SYD.

Sydney is very much like London.
Sydney is very much like London. We always come for the vivid show, well worth seeing, Sydney has so many options of what to do and where to go, entertainment is great, you can’t beat the opera house and the harbour bridge for that feel of history achieved.

Things to do are so vast now, streets are less congested with trams back in from Circular Quay. Public transport is more affordable with capped daily & weekly charges so we used it everywhere. Whilst we went for Vivid, as weather wasn't kind we spent more time on other things as the city has so much to do. Having a great view is the key to hotel stays in Sydney so pay the extra as its is worth the memories!

We stayed in the CBD which was easy walking distance to Darling Harbour, The Aquarium, other tourist attractions, Restaurants, the Light Rail, and shopping.
If you like history, take a walking tour of the city; visit The Rocks, the Opera House, and The Maritime Museum.
If you visit Sydney's Fish Market, stop by The Boat Shed Restaurant for a fabulous Seafood Platter.
For the most part, people were very friendly. Take a Credit Card with you to tap on tap off of the Light Rail and Ferries. Easy and convenient. Most places took cash as well.
value for money/the location was fantastic - perfect for those wanting to visit the cbd and the eastern suburbs / beaches. The executive room/s is worth every penny, not many hotels in the Sydney cbd or eastern suburbs with a balcony/terrace (and a sizeae one you get with the executive suite) views are lovely, it was quiet at night, comfortable and the room had an everything you needed and extra surprises. Written by an ex Sydney sider, I will definately be back.
I love this hotel. It is beautifully presented, the beds are amazingly comfortable, the staff are wonderful. The rooftop bar/work area is lovely. Yes the rooms are small but if you just want a place to come back to after a day I Sydney, it's great.
We stay here all the time because it's right above the Wynyard train station, and you can walk to the CBD, Darling Harbour, Circular Quay, and the new area north of Darling Harbour which I forgot the name of.
Easy to get to from both the airport terminals as well as the CBD. Very convenient for short business trips, and equally great for longer stays with the in-room kitchen and laundry facilities. This is far better value than central CBD area hotels if you're willing to make a 15 minute commute. Very large and comfortable rooms. Great restaurants and large supermarket in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.
It is a budget hotel near the airport with a shuttle that can provide service to/from the airport for 10 AUD each way. The hotel room was comfortable, clean and quiet. I booked it since I was flying back out the next morning, and the proximity to the airport eliminated the stress I would have experienced had I gone all the way into downtown Sydney and then back out to the airport the next morning.
This hotel is very close to the Sydney Airport domestic terminal and so it nice and convenient for travellers. The room itself was very spacious with a large bed, good desk fro working and fridge/microwave in the room. I stayed for six nights and could easily have stayed for longer. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in Sydney for business or need a short stop over.
Parking efficient; check-in very professional; the room was very comfortable and bigger than most hotels. The combination of the heritage and the way it has been modernised makes it a pleasure to come “home” to. My fathers office was in the building when it was a government location in the 1960’s. We have stayed there before and we will be back.
The room size & facilities were great. Bed comfort was good.
At level 5, the traffic noise on Elizabeth Street, was still loud.
Location & price of hotel was excellent for what I had planned to do & see while in Sydney.
Access to Museum Station for commute from/to airport was excellent.
Location to food facilities of all types was great.
We never stayed here. Booking was confirmed and they never replied to us about meeting us with a key. We tried all afternoon, once we arrived in Sydney and we even waited at the apartment with no contact from the number supplied for the booking. Leaving us having to find accommodation elsewhere at 10pm on a Friday night.
Stayed there years ago when it was the Westin, it was one of our favourite places we had stayed. New ownership after Covid, good to see they haven’t changed anything. The clock tower and old post office building is one of the most beautiful backdrops for a hotel in the middle of CBD. 10/10 for everything.
Spacious room and large comfortable bed. Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff who were quick to quieten down noisy neighbours late at night. Reasonable price in relation to upmarket hotels nearby. Within a few minutes walk of all the action in The Rocks, harbour and harbour bridge climb.
Nice new hotel with a lovely room, great airport view! Clean, spacious, and very quiet compared to some other hotels around. 10mins walk from T2/T3. Lots of restaurants around. Friendly and professional staff. Very convenient for catching 2nd day early international flights.
Honestly one of the nicest Sydney hotels I’ve stayed in! The room was very spacious, and incredibly clean. It was also handy having a fully equipped kitchen. The location is fantastic - really close to the airport and there are nearby eateries and a grocery store.
Excellent location! Comfortable beds and nice to have a few kitchen amenities. Loved staying here more than we ever did in Sydney CBD. The harbour view was stunning from this side. Ferries are easy to hop on/hop off. Loved it!
Novotel Sydney Airport Hotel is very close and handy to the Airport, Wolli Train Station and Woolworth Supermarket. The Hotel Breakfast is adequate and the restaurant is well catered for. The Housekeeping lets this Hotel down.
The property is in a very good location in the cbd to access trains and lots of restaurants. The property always seems to be cheaper than other hotels around. It's pretty clean and comfortable for the price.
The location was great and the room was very good. The check-in and checkout process was fast. There are 2 Novotel hotels nearby in Darling Harbour. This one is the smaller one compared to the other one.
The location was terrific. The hotel was a short walk to the Mascot Station and was near a grocery store and some great restaurants. It was easy to get to Sydney CBD and tourist sites.
Location location location! Just amazing - so easy to get to from the airport. It’s in the CBD of Sydney and within walking distance from so many amazing places.
