I stayed in Edinburgh 4 days during Fringe.
I stayed in Edinburgh 4 days during Fringe. City is crowded during this event, yet it was fantastic. Museums are phenomenal - not only the exhibitions but buildings are worthy of exploring. I hike to the Arthur's seat, I bough one day trip to Loch Ness and visited a lot of great historical places within the city. Big part of my trip were restaurants and local food. I tried some sausage with horseradish mash potatoes in Makars Mash Bar, I enjoyed ruby chicken in Dishoom and drank liters of IRN BRU. It is highly possible I will come back! Amazing city!Guest review byLucynaPoland - 10.0
Glasgow is a city with a history, both great and urban.
Glasgow is a city with a history, both great and urban. Beautiful buildings, some with scars from "taggers" like many big cities. However, the people are great and the city has some wonderful dining and entertainment options.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

The beach is long and clean.
The beach is long and clean. There is a lot of construction work ongoing at the ice rink and swimming pool. It will be very good. Amustments and funfair open at 10. Ideal for the kids. The City is great for walking with nice parks with mostly clean streets. Of course it has its not so nice parts where the junkies hang about, every major city or town has them. Art gallery and museums worth a visit. loads of eating places.Guest review byBrian StarkUnited Kingdom - 8.0

A small town but with shops, cafes, cinema and good rail and bus links.speciailses in outdoor activities as UK outdoor centre. The West Highland walking Way from Glasgow ends here and the Great Glen way to Inverness commences. Lots of walks from low level to high mountains with bike trails and plentiful buses to lochs and mountains. The town sits on a loch amidst mountains and the loch is actually a 30 mile inlet of the Atlantic. Thomas Telfords, Caledonian Canal and Neptunes Staircase ( locks) is nearby with boat moorings.Guest review bygeorgeUnited Kingdom - 8.0

We were using Oban to access the Cal Mac ferry to Lismore, as my partner's dad is buried there. Everything went very smoothly and we had a nice sailing there and back. We enjoyed a couple of excellent meals at the Waterfront Sea Food Restaurant and ES-USK Seafood Restaurant. Enjoyed an evening of live music and a few drinks in The Oban Inn. Finished the trip off by visiting McCaig's Tower, with excellent views over the town, sea, and surrounding Islands.Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0
