Two beaches that very different and will suit both those that prefer the quieter side and south bay which is more livelier, busier but equally as good to go and visit. Peasholm park is a nice place to walk through. Saltwater Cafe Bar is a nice place to eat or go for a drink and a great view of North Bay beach. Lovely staff in the places I went to eat and drink. Loads to do in Scarborough Only thing with Scarborough hotels is you can't book in until 3 I normally got for the football as I use to live in Scarborough kick off is at 3, you need to find a hotel that will at least let you drop your bags off.Guest review byCraigUnited Kingdom - 8.0

No-one would pretend that Scarborough is hugely smart, but it has an old-fashioned charm that draws us back time after time. There is something for all tastes at Scarborough.
There is something for all tastes at Scarborough. If you want boat trips fish and chips and amusement arcades they are there. If you want places of reflection and calm in well maintained gardens they are there. If you want long walks and nature choose the south side. If you want shops head up the cliff walking or the cliff lifts or start at the bottom and walk up to the top there are shops cafes and eating places on both sides .
