Manchester well, there is so much to see and do and the transport around the attractions, museums etc are brilliant and easy to use, for shopping you've got the massive Trafford centre or in the city there is the arndale centre as well as favourites like Primark, plus myriad of small bespoke shops.

Loved the bar and restaurant we went to - which were close to our hotel, the Lowry. The bar was Tom's chop house on Deansgate - quirky old pub, And the restaurant was Sam's chop House - great food and superb wine list.

I'm 44 and my partner 57 and we had a dog with us, so we're not the right kind of people for this city. It's for youngsters. I find it way too urban with very few green spaces, compared to London, for example. It's too busy, noisy and expensive for me. We visited Liverpool and Birmingham on the same trip and preferred both to Manchester. On the other hand, Manchester is only 30 minute drive to the Peak District. I also had the most amazing Thai massage at Sarasin Spa at Bradley Street and the best dinner at Bondi Bowls at the Kampus, Chorlton Street. These three things made our visit worthwhile.

    It was an awesome city.

It was an awesome city. We were there for the Oasis gig and the city was totally ready for the amount of peoplr going. The city felt safe and everyone we spoke too was buzzing about the weekend. We spent most of the weekend floating about taking it all in and trying the local pubs. It wasn't my first trip to Manchester and it will definently not be my last.

I thought it was excellent value for money. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The room was of adequate size & had a good view over Salford. The shower was one of the best I've had in a hotel & it was good to have a separate shower. The breakfast was good for a budget hotel with a fair amount of choice. The hotel was close to the tram taking you into Manchester City centre or to Media City.

I recently stayed at the Clayton Hotel in Manchester City Centre and overall had a positive experience. The location is excellent: within easy walking distance to most of the city's major attractions, shops, and restaurants. It made getting around Manchester incredibly convenient. The room was spacious and modern, with very comfortable beds that made it easy to relax after a long day.

The location of INNSiDE by Meliá Manchester was absolutely perfect! Everything was within easy reach—tram stops, great restaurants, and the city centre. Whether you prefer walking or using public transport, it couldn’t be more convenient. We loved the hotel itself too—friendly staff, stylish atmosphere, and again… location, location, location! We’ll definitely be coming back.

Great apartment in every respect. Spacious for a group of six guests. Location was situated in a central location, just up from Piccadilly station. Decor was as pictured and very clean with plenty of towels left out. Tea and coffee left out. The best apartment I’ve stayed in Manchester City centre.
