Victoria is a very beautiful city, definitely worth visiting. The ocean, the parks, the unique stores, and especially the food options for us vegans are fantastic! However, I was deeply disturbed by their homeless/drug addicts problem, not so much for safety reasons but more for compassionate ones. It had a bathtub which I need. It was perfect for us seniors. We also liked the pool and used it every evening for winding down the day and retiring for the night. We loved the location as The Galloping Goose bike trail was adjacent to the hotel. One could bike to downtown Victoria for entertainment.
