A fabulous buzzy city with incredible architecture and green space. We will return to explore. Restaurants and bars all amazing - people in the street really friendly and helpful. We came from Malaga to Madrid by train - that was superb. Lots of taxis at reasonable costs. We will be back - so cross with our hotel experience.

Madrid was a nice surprise.
Madrid was a nice surprise. It's a big city with nice buildings and a well maintained old town. The night life was incredible with cool bars, good food and felt safe out on the busy streets. I would do again!

August is a perfect month to visit Madrid as most locals are out of town in beach locations which means there is little traffic and it's easy to move around town. Great place to visit for art and culture.

The city is vibrant and easy to navigate.
The city is vibrant and easy to navigate. Lots of culture and retail venues. Do not miss the museums, the Fuencarral avenue shops, the rooftop bars, and the clubs.
Not so cool is RENFE and other railway companies that give you a hard time refund tickets to other cities. Also beware of second hand online train ticket sales webpages, they charge your credit card but do not guarantee you a seat on the train. Then they take a while to refund your money. Beware of pick pockets in crowded spaces.

Such an amazingly vibrant city.
Such an amazingly vibrant city. So much to see, and so many great restaurants. Most places are walking distance in central Madrid, which is helpful. The metro lines work super well and are clean. The city is safe, never felt at danger at anytime. People are very friendly and welcoming also. I love Madrid, one of the best European cities.

Madrid is an incredible city.
Madrid is an incredible city. Filled with so much culture, beautiful architure, amazing museums, food and wonderful streets to explore. It has an amazing metro system and its super easy to move around this beautiful city.
Don't miss going to the many Mercados in Madrid like Mercado San Miguel and many others. That entire area is a great area to walk and explore. Another not to be miss is Retiro Park, gorgeous park and there's so much to do there and see as well.
One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Clean, beautiful, amazing facilities. Location is good, is in the financial center, close to airport and city center. We arrived in terminal 1, we took bus 200 to get to the hotel. Public transport in Madrid by default costs 1.5 EUR(and you can pay cash inside the bus). In order to get to the center we got the bus 53 infront of Cuco’s restaurant which is super close to the hotel and it was super easy to travel around. Highly recommended. Loved it?
The room: beds are really comfy, shower is very nice! And breakfast is really a must. We were not sure about the location since we feared it was far from city centre but we then were very surprised how well connected is with city centre. The hotel is in residential area, quiet and away from the noise of city centre for good sleep but easily connected with metro to main stations, so we really recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madrid!
The Hotel interior is modern and very carefully designed. All the staff were very polite and helpful during our staying. The sky bar and pool were also excellent and gave us the opportunity to cool down from the heat. The location is ideal as is walking distance to everything in the city centre, near Sol and Plaza Mayor. I will definitely return to the hotel when I am visiting Madrid again.
The room was very spacious and had plenty of everything we needed. The hotel was close enough to the city centre it would've been nice had madrid been busy like it would be in the summer. Staff were mostly helpful and would go the extra mile to help out. My mum travelled with us and she stayed on her own, but felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay.
Hotel was in a great location, being a short walk from Gran Via metro station, with easy connections to the airport. Room was nice and cool. Shower was decent, everything worked fine. Lovely, welcoming staff too, and decent value for the centre of Madrid.
