I love Brighton it's close to home London.
I love Brighton it's close to home London. It has excellent transport links and regular trains that leave early and late. The place is relaxing the people are great and there is lots to do for any age group. Fantastic sights shops and restaurants. There are so many fantastic shops and places to eat and drink you are spoilt for choice. The beach is along one straight line on either side of the pier which you can walk down. You must visit the pier and eat fish and chips on the beach and watch the sun go down it's magical.

I’ve stayed in Brighton numerous occasions.
I’ve stayed in Brighton numerous occasions. And would return. Unfortunately the property my partner and two pooches stayed in was in Hove and the run down side of Hove. Especially the property externally and the entrance hall which lead to the lifts. Upon arrival the lifts were working and then out of order for two days due to maintenance works being carried out. I was going to leave sooner. But my partner wished to stay considering we came far. I definitely would not return back.

Lively place, excellent beach front with loads to do, great places to eat and drink. Everything was in easy walking distance.
Felt very safe, never saw any crime or drunken aggressive behaviour. Everyone was friendly and easy going.
I liked it more and more the more time I was there.
We ate out each night and so much variety from fast food at Shelter Hall, although I sent my food back as it wasn't nice through to high end steak at The Coal Shed which was expensive but beautiful food and great staff. Giggling Squid was also a highlight. Gorgeous food, very lovely staff and reasonably priced.
Loads of places to shop and The Lanes is an experience in itself browsing the narrow twisting lanes with individual eclectic shops.
As you get off the train it doesn't give a great first impression, it looks a bit run down and grubby but as you get towards Hove it gets better and the seafront is amazing.
We went on i360 and that was great if not a little expensive for what was a very short time, 20mins start to finish at £37, glad we did it but wouldn't do it again.

The facade of Selina Hotel is a little deceiving.
The facade of Selina Hotel is a little deceiving. It is a very nice reception area with some interesting plants and a place to sit and enjoy a coffee or tea. The rooms small but clean and very comfortable beds. We had a nice view from the room. The radiator was a bit too warm and could've been adjusted but the other was switched off. Lucky with the weather which made a difference to getting around. It was a great location and plenty of clvariety at Preston Street for the many restaurants to choose from

It was a good choice for an early spring visit when the weather was cool. We were able to walk miles along the prom and paths at the foot of the cliffs. The town is lively and the Royal Pavilion well worth visiting. The bus service was excellent and we were able to visit other towns along the coast. There was a wide choice of resturants.

Ideal location has we went for the racing at Brighton and the following day at fontwell were we had to catch a train which was 4minute to the station.we also had a full day in Brighton with the hotel only a 10 minute walk to the seafront and only 2 min walk to around 4 pubs. We didn’t have breakfast because of our arrangements but passing through the eating area the food on looks looked really nice.the car park was only a few minutes walk and cheaper than expected all in all a nice stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.
The Leonardo Royal Hotel Waterfront Brighton has an ideal location if you want to stay centrally in Brighton and be close to the sea, the Pier and the shopping/restaurant areas. The breakfast area on "upper Ground floor" has an excellent positioning to get a nice view of the beach, the Pier and the seaside og Brighton. Very pleasant quiet breakfast area with also great variety to choose from. The room was clean and quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Public Parking garage underneath is very convenient.
We had a very easy check in, like many Malmaison's the actual hotel is above the main street but this is not a problem. The room was typically quirky but with nice 4* luxuries and touches like complimentary water and a big clean powerful shower room. What really stood out was the dinner we all had, the food was genuinely excellent and given the "chain" nature of the hotel far beyond our expectations. It was not cheap, but given quality was good value.
Our host was very kind and helpful. He was there when we arrived, even though it was a holiday Monday, and we had not let him know when we would be arriving.
He had suggestions for restaurants (having already let us know that Ruby Pub and Hotel would not be serving food that night). The rooms were incredibly clean, beds comfortable.
Our host suggested that we visit the Royal Pavilion near the beach in Brighton, so we did, the next day.
Far and above exceeded my expectations. I chose it because it was the cheapest I found. The price in no way matches the hotel. They could easily charge twice the price. Room was fantastic. Very comfortable. Staff were all lovely. Its serves the best coffee in Brighton. I didn't get a chance to eat in their little cafe but I seen others and the food looked sensational. I cannot wait to get back to it.
FANTASTIC VERY VERY HOSPITABLE KIND AND FRIENDLY HOST CALLED OSCAR FROM MINORCA SPAIN. WOW CANT FAULT HIM HES AMAZING ALSO LOCATION IS AMAZING IN THE BRIGHTON CITY CENTRE NEAR SEAFRONT AND BRIGHTON PALACE PIER. ALSO VERY SUNNY NICE WEATHER WHICH WAS THE ICING ON AN ALREADY NICE CAKE.ALSO WE GOT AN UPGRADED ROOM FREE OF CHARGE. VERY VERY PLEASED WITH THIS HOTEL WILL STAY AGAIN IF IN BRIGHTON.
My friends and I spent practically our whole stay trying to figure out how this place was so cheap. The location is fantastic, there was reliable WiFi and TV, we had a garden, the hot water and such worked fine, the staff on the phone were friendly and helpful. This might be the best value for money in Brighton. 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk in to town massively appreciated.
I was amazed at the location which was right on the beach the size of the room let the children play the bathroom was amazing and very up to date the ice do this hotel no justice only fault was no tv but we stayed out late anyway take your own towels or you will have to pay but will defo be returning to this hotel for its value and location
Location is just the best. The beach is right at the doorstep on one side, and on the other side were supermarkets and great restaurants. All the buses I needed were super close. The bathroom and shower were excellent. All of the staff I encountered were very sweet.
This is probably one of the best hotels I have stayed in ,what amazing staff cannot say enough about the staff !
Position is amazing and food was unreal , celebrated my 60th there wow every guest of mine could not say enough about the staff and food as well
Incredible value for money. Boutique hotel at its absolute best. Close to the beach. Excellent food in the restaurant. Understated luxurious bedrooms and bathrooms. Air conditioning/ black out curtains. Super friendly staff
The hotel location is perfect for access to Brighton beach and the lanes, both can be access by a short stroll. The hotel is a beautiful big seafront building, containing lots of English history.
Loved this hotel. Had a large Seaview room with a gorgeous view of the beach. Top notch service from the staff. This is how hotels used to be run - nice to experience it again.
The Hotel is at the end of the Pier next to the beach - the dinning area with lounge area look out to sea
It is close to many food outlets including Fish & Chips
Reception could do with renovation, very dark.
Could do with having help with parking as very expensive, some Brighton hotels give vouchers for a discount.
