The staff Chris on reception very helpful glen the duty manager on our stay nothing too much trouble . The rooms are clean comfortable Signitures restaurant reasonable prices for great food. Liked it that much booked mini break there after Christmas.
Bed bit to soft but still slept well
Lovely room and enormous bathroom not what expected of budget room! Being so near town and HIC where we went to concert
Chaotic breakfast room waited ages for things to be replaced and staff to serve drinks
The Food in the Restaurant was excellent, service good, staff polite and nothing too much trouble for them. We had a superb Dinner, 3 Courses at a very reasonable price.
Very slippy tiles round the shower. Very easy to slip over and another rail would have helped.
Pleasant staff, made us very welcome very clean and modern, close to town centre and amenities, would recommend to anyone.
No problems at all.
Excellent bathroom Good continental breakfast - a vast improvement on last year. Friendly, efficient staff.
Poor lighting in bedroom made reading difficult
good comfortable hotel at a fair price, nice meals, good situation
The closeness to the Conference Centre and the town. The staff were very helpful and cheerful. I booked a single room and it was very spacious, not what you usually get in hotels.
The continental breakfast was very disappointing.
Lovely bright and spacious room with a double and single beds for two of us, and plenty room to unpack, and relax with a cup of Yorkshire tea and biscuits. It was very convenient for the conference centre, walking into town, and about 15 minutes walk from the railway station.
The full-length window in the bathroom thankfully had a rattan blind, but frosted glass might be better as there would then still be natural light.
Friendly staff, central location close to town and exhibition centre. Signature Bistro served delicious food.
staff,location meals(great evening meal)
the bed had a memory foam matteres and the pillows were hard
spacious room staff helpful & friendly availability of on-site parking (small charge) love the hotel's quirky design - different levels, small corridors makes for a very homely feel & quiet excellant value for money
suspect the recent heavy rainfall was to blame, but our en-suite did have drainage smell. Running the taps for 10 mins or so did seem to clear the problem.
Perfect position for all amenities, warm friendly and very clean. Excellent breakfast served in a nice room with great staff. The ambiance of the hotel is what it should be, not a faded shadow of its past like some hotels i have stayed in but bang up to date with top quality staff and decoration. We will stay again - thanks
Nice quiet room at rear of hotel.
Room very cold on arrival and heating is sluggish. Takes too long to warm up.
Location & facilities
Paying for the carpark that was full at 2pm, so cars were parking at the entrance of the car park.
The tea was great!
Rooms are comfortable and clean.
Rooms at back of hotel are quite noisey early in the mornings due to deliveries, dustman, etc:
Location of hotel Helpfulness and friendliness of Reception staff Quality of food
Temperature in dining room and bar - very chilly for a November evening. Availability of staff in the bar and dining room. Upgraded room was comfortable, but small.
Very good location 5 minutes walk from Harrogate town centre. Excellent pumped electric shower. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Rather dim lighting in the room we had. No hooks to hang towels on within reach of the bath/shower.
Good value cosy room, great location and fantastic breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
Actually it was a fire escape, but had the weather been good we could have sat out on it and watched the sunset. As it was it lashed down for two days and nights. Car park costs, but is very convenient. And we ate at Jamie's Italian, which we can recommend.
The room size was excellent location very central staff brilliant and hotel extremely clean
Everything was excellent though the wooden bed frame was creaky and the bedding 'rustled' which kept us awake.
Size of room
Difficult layout of hotel
Nice roomy accommodation
Expensive car parking in hotel car park
They thought of everything. Chocolate mints with the coffee excellent wifi. Comfortable bed spacious room
Very cosy when you walk in .
Parking. The toilet was so noisy not only in my room but the one above . The boiler kept going on and off had a horrendous nights sleep if any .
