Room was very clean & the bathroom was modern & in excellent condition. Very friendly & accommodating staff. The bar staff were friendly & helped with parking my car. We were slightly late to checkout as my wife had a bit of nausea - the lovely girl who was cleaning our apartment for the next guests was understanding, patient and very friendly, give her a raise!

My sister and I loved absolutely everything in the hotel, especially the staff who were all adorable. The breakfast was freshly cooked and also had buffet options for cereals, fruits etc. The room was huge and had huge windows toward the front of the hotel with a nice armchair to relax and enjoy the skies.

FAQs about hotels in Edinburgh

A Feast for the Senses

A city of heritage, heart and of course Hogmanay, Scotland’s capital is vibrant and edgy. Whether or not you come for one of its many festivals, Edinburgh is quite simply a feast for the senses.

The wealth of Edinburgh sights ranges from Holyrood Palace to the Botanical Gardens, Princes Street to the Royal Mile. Overseeing them all is majestic Edinburgh Castle. Be there at sunset on a clear day to see the city below bathed in a warm, orange glow. Simply stunning.

Wandering the streets, the smell of fish and chips wafts by, with the unique twist of salt ‘n’ sauce – a must-try variation on this favourite dish. Follow it up with a smooth whisky and you’ll start to feel like a local.

For a taste of Scottish culture, a kilt-wearing busker often plays the bagpipes on Waverley Bridge, while traditional folk music can be heard in some Old Town pubs. Complete your stay with a rugby match at Murrayfield or a round at one of the city’s 14 golf clubs, and you’ll have the true Edinburgh experience.

Whether you are looking for hotels near Edinburgh Airport or accommodations in the city center, Booking.com has a great range to choose from.

Edinburgh City was beautiful and our stay there was not long enough to see it all!! At our time there, there was the Military Tattoo on, Fringe Festival and AC/DC at Murray field. Weather was magnificent and it was easy to get around the city via buses and simply walking to see all the sites.

Great city to walk, shop - pretty much anything.

Great city to walk, shop - pretty much anything. Whether you are a history aficionado or a party-goer, there is something pretty much every moment of the day. It is very expensive by almost any standard but if you time the trip well, you can still land acceptable lodging options and there are grocery stores and some restaurants open 24/7, so do not fret about missing anything at all.

If you want to stroll the city and enjoy its history do not go there in August when Fringe is scheduled. Too much chaos throughout the city. Too many people vying for space in shops and restaurants. I would have enjoyed Edinburgh much more in September.

Great city full of history, lots of hidden gems to discover as well as the popular landmarks. We did the city bus tour, the castle, we also caught the tram to the Royal Yacht Britannia before squeezing in a little whisky tasting at Johnie Walkers and enjoyed the roof top bar there

The Royal Scots Club is situated in New town area, next to a beautiful park. It is within a very short walking distance from city centre and all main attractions, as well as close to the tram and bus to and from the airport, and yet it is situated in a really peaceful neighborhood. The hotel is lovely, a special place with history and character, not just a chain hotel. If you wish to add a little something extra to your stay in wonderful Edinburgh, this hotel is worth trying.

The hotel is in a great location with easy access to everything in central Edinburgh. Although it's in the city centre we found the bedroom quiet and had no issues with outside noise. The room was stylishly decorated with excellent facilities and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the communication prior to our arrival was quiet and efficient.

I like this place - the staff are really helpful and it is a comfortable, clean and affordable place to stay near to the city centre where hotel prices soar and you don't get any more for your money. Recommend the hotel for a great stay in Edinburgh, and the parking is handy even if they have put on a price on it more recently, but still affordable.

This was a relatively cheap ( by Edinburgh standards) 2* hotel, so I wasn't expecting too much. The room was large and reasonably clean, although it wasn't cleaned the second day of our stay. Not too far from the city centre with buses nearby.
