Quiet hill town with lots of amenities. Well located to visit other towns if you are willing to drive. Pay VERY close attention to the information sent by the hotel about luggage drop off and pick up. We loved the location, amazing scenery and ambience of the property. It is an authentic rural family owned winery originally owned by Host’s grandparents. Guests are treated like a high class hotel. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful. The proximity to Castelina in Chianti was perfect as we shopped there at the deli and grocery store. We were also thrilled to be staying in the middle of an active vineyard. We did not use the pool however many did and it was a beautiful scene with vineyards. Nestled in the Chianti hills but less than 30 is drive from Siena. The room was very comfortable and quiet with excellent air conditioning. The grounds were lovely with lots of different areas to sit in, both in and out of the shade. Pool beautiful. We are in the restaurant all 3 nights. Food, service and sunset all amazing.
