We have chosen Umiltà 36 for our vacation in Rome and our stay was amazing. This hotel is located in the very heart of Rome - just a few minutes from the Trevi fountain - but hidden on a quiet street, which makes it a true gem. Our room was not only beautifully decorated, but also thoughtfully and smartly designed, the bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable and there was no noise from outside in the room. The hotel restaurant “Aquamarina” has a great seafood menu with local dishes and wine. What makes Umiltà 36 really special, however, is the people. Every staff member we’ve interacted with was friendly and genuinely helpful. And what is most important, during our stay our little daughter was treated like a princess - which meant the world to us.

Rome is very beautiful place to visit, specifically if you are a fan of history and architecture. Each and every architecture was amazing and impressive. However, be careful about your stuff in pocket and even in bag, we saw many pick pocketing around the crowdy areas. Do not fall for anyone who comes to you for long talk or something.

2 and a half days was enough to do all the main sights. Everything is walkable from Campo De Fiori. The sights and city generally weren’t as busy as we were led to believe but maybe that was because it was the first week in September. The one thing that caught us out was the Vatican museum. We booked it too late so they only had the 5.30 slot left. We booked it and went the St Peters first at 5.30 as per the time on the ticket thinking we could go from there straight into the museum after but the museum is 20 min walk away. We got to the museum at 6.30 but it closed at 6pm. €100 (for 4 adults) down the drain. St peters is free. We should have gone to that earlier and been at the museum at 5.30. Other than that it was great. Endless places to eat. Best eating experience was over the river in Trastevere next to the Vatican (40min walk along the river).

Rome is the most beautiful city there is.

Rome is the most beautiful city there is. Grab a bicycle and see more than just the tourist basic spots. Only downfall is Romans are a bit rude and it's realllyyyy difficult to find good food, because most places cater to foreigners and serve food that no Italian would touch.

Fantastically beautiful. You feel special around the monuments, there is so much to see, plan for a longer stay. Rome is huge so stick to the Metro if you are not sure how to get somewhere. People do not necessarily speak English everywhere, they are nice but you have to. When you go to a restaurant you may be charged for sitting down.

Rome is a big museum, all the historical buildings such as the Colosseum and the Pantheon. Also, the religious landmarks such as St. Peter's Basilica. Other notable structures such as the historic Castel Sant'Angelo, the Baroque Trevi Fountain, the ancient Pyramid of Cestius, and the Spanish Steps. All of them are close to each other, So, you don't need to use a car to see them , just rent a hotel or apartment close to these amazing buildings and enjoy. Rome is undeniably fascinating and we experienced many jaw dropping moments visiting the key landmarks. However, we were really disappointed by the lack of care taken to present them at their best. The amount of rubbish around the city was distracting and took away from what could have been an even more magical experience. As guardians of some of the finest historical relics in the world, I would have expected a task force dedicated to this level of basic care and upkeep.

Very nice place located near Rome Termini. It was the 4th property we stayed in while travelling through Italy and one of the best ones. Giorgio arranged for a late check-in for us as we arrived late and a self check-out, he was available online for any questions we had. It took us 15-20 mins to get to the historical Rome center. The place is really big and comfortable, there are 2 rooms - a living room with kitchenette and a spacious bedroom. The place is very stylish and well-equipped. We really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful spacious room, so nice to come back to the room after spending the day exploring the city. The bed is also very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful and gave us ideas what to do, transport to take etc. The breakfast was excellent! With staff clearing your plate and cutlery and giving you new ones after each helping. Also the hotel is just minutes away from Rome Termini so it is easy to go take a bus or train to everywhere that you want to visit in Rome and Italy!

We had a wonderful weekend in Rome! It's a family hotel with very friendly and helpful hostesses - Francesca and her mother. The hotel offers stylish and comfortable rooms equipped with everything you need: a fridge, a kettle, a TV. The bed is very comfortable, and the area is quiet. I especially want to mention the delicious homemade breakfast with eggs, yogurt, ham, pastries and coffee, which is quite diverse for Italy. I highly recommend staying at this hotel👍

This was the best hotel in Italy we have visited out of 7. Very clean, comfortable and with good vibe. Great outdoor swimming pool - we loved it after hot day. But the best was customer service. We have left a wallet and they helped us a lot and sent the wallet back. Location was good, not far from the metro station and when we used taxi from the city centre was not expensive. We had a very good time.
