We loved everything about this property. The location was beautiful. The rooms were nice and clean. We did eat at the restaurant located on the property. Good food. They provided a appetizer with our wine which was the best green olives I have ever had. They tasted completely different than the States. They have a beautiful setting amongst the vineyards and olive trees. Pool to relax and the view was amazing.

Absolutely loved the private spacious villa with a beautiful view of vineyards and olive trees. Pool was pristine and the staff couldn’t be anymore helpful or friendlier! They helped book massages, Vespa, Hot air balloon and dinner reservations! They made staying at this beautiful villa even better! They made my wife and my honeymoon even more special! When we come back to Tuscany we will stay again! Highly recommend for anyone! Their wine is delicious too!

Beautiful setting in the Tuscan hills - quaint, clean room with comfortable bed. Close to a very good restaurant by foot and 20 min by car from Firenze yet you are completely in the countryside. The pool is clean, spacious and a great addition to cool off in the summer. AC was a definite plus in this heat as well. Good breakfast options.

Our stay at the Castello was incredible! The property is spectacular! Our apartment was super specious, well decorated and very clean. It had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room with a fireplace and a kitchen. It also had a huge backyard. The staff was very attentive and friendly and breakfast was delicious! We would love to go back during the summer to enjoy the pool and walk around admiring the beautiful landscape and marvelous views!

This is one of the most beautiful and well maintained properties I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The attention to detail along with the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff was top notch. Everyone went above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and get the most out of your stay. The restaurant served amazing food both for breakfast and for dinner. We could have stayed at Relais for our entire vacation and been more than happy. We will most def be back.

    San Casciano is remote in the beautiful Tuscan Hills, although just 40 minutes slow drive to Florence The hotel is 7 minutes outside the town, so walking is difficult. Need a car to go anywhere. Taxis are not available. This hotel is pretty good, but the much-acclaimed restaurant is, at best, just above average and pricey. Claims to be "special" but isn't! Terrace dining is romantic but watch the wasps in the daytime and mosquitos in the evening. Swmming pool fairly small and crowded. Grounds are pristine and lots of lovely bougainvillea. Reception staff smile a lot. Huge carpark!

    We were there with a family of 11 including grandparents.

    We were there with a family of 11 including grandparents. There’s no lift so if you’re not able to walk the stairs anymore you shouldn’t choose the house we rented. Other than that the house was like a museum with beautiful antique furniture which we loved. There is no airconditioning yet.

    Peaceful, with beautiful Vistas.

    Peaceful, with beautiful Vistas. The Staff was outstanding with smiles and open arms for any assistance we needed. Cooking class was fun, learning many new things none of us had known with our delightful chef who was patient and knowledgeable. Dinner at the restaurant was full of wonderful foods. The perfect place to explore wineries and take it down a few notches to relax and unwind.

    I would imagine that, like me, most people go there to visit...

    I would imagine that, like me, most people go there to visit the famous Antinori wine estate, one of the most spectacular & lavish wine estates for visitors in Europe, and one of the few that are comparable with what you would find in California, South Africa or South America. There's not a great deal else here that I am aware of - it's basically a few small villages. Good location for visiting other neighbouring parts of Chianti though. And, as noted in my review elsewhere of the Albergo Bargino, its attached fish restaurant, the Trattoria del Pesce, is worth a visit in itself.

    An absolute gem in Chianti region. The owners were welcoming,friendly and very accommodating. The hotel and its garden are beautiful and overlooking a stunning valley. Breakfast was amazing. We would recommend the hotel and the town to anyone.     We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh, home made options. Absolutely delicious.
