The restaurants were fantastic. The location is great, very close to shops, transport and the beach. Room was spacious and had a nice view from the balcony. The tv in the room was huge. Bed was comfortable. The pool/bar was great.

I like visiting the Gold Coast but I wouldn’t live there as it’s too busy and noisy. Appreciated all the highway improvements. Its pretty easy to get around provided you know where the roadworks are and therefore avoid.

    Really good for tourists.

Really good for tourists. Plenty of things to do whether relaxing or more adventurous. Getting around easy as public transport good. My sister and I are more mature so it was a girls time away!. Plenty of places within walking distance i.e cafes, shops, beaches. So much to choose from and best places to get info is hotels, apartments etc. You won't be sorry having a short or long holiday on Coast!

The theme parks are great, good nightlife (we live in Perth but from London) good places to eat, a lot to do in the evening when the parks are closed. Beaches are spotless. Dreamworld is not as good value for money as Movie World, only 2 hour drive to Australia Zoo. We had tickets for Wet n Wild but weather was not good enough and 40% was closed for renovation so I cannot comment on that theme park.

The Gold Coast is a beautiful place, lots of things to do, shops, beautiful beaches, and a lovely place to breakaway to either for a weekend breakaway or long-term holiday destination. It has an airport close by and so much to do in an around that you will and can never be bored. I recommend the Gold Coast to any tourist or local to visit.

The location was stunning. Value for money was hard to believe. We were looking for a cheap motel to stay at for our two days at the theme parks but fluked out finding the hotel at a cheaper rate then other motels. Room was huge, clean beds super comfy and super quiet quiet. It also had a 5* view facing the marina and the kids thought we were millionaires coming into that huge shiny foyer. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Wifi was provided on request. Breakfast was a bonus. And had all you expect for continental.

Our apartment (503) was very close to the main road. Too much road noise. Hard to sleep. The room wasn't very clean. We had a family member staying in the Trilogy Apartments over the road. Much nicer than Solaire.. We barely saw any staff. 3.30 pm is too early to close reception. We flew unto Gold Coast Airport and hired a car. Was 4.00 pm by the time we reached Surfers. Not good enough really. Wouldn't stay at Solaire again, or recommend it to friends.

Excellent location with a tram stop right outside the hotel providing easy access to Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. Definitely look forward to staying here again in the near future.

Seemed very soundproof with the doors closed. Very good value for money! Was the cheapest hotel i could find with 4 bedrooms and it did not dissapoint! Would definately stay here again
