We came to do the "Bloody Long Walk", stayed Saturday night and had dinner upstairs at Miami Rice. The food was delicious, atmosphere was great. We then walked up to a bar in the mall. Felt safe, the vibe was fabulous!

After spending time at an ibis hotel and finding the rooms very tiny then moving onto a better place up in Newcastle we found Sydney easy enough to get around using public transport and learning as we went with which stop to get off at. We like Sydney better than Melbourne and we live in country Victoria. Sydney is exciting with the vibe. We explored a little with a friend who lives there, she was a great tour guide and showed us how to do it on the cheap.

A vibrant bustling city with plenty of places to walk, cycle, or visit local attractions. The Opera House, and Harbour Bridge at Circular Quay or The Rocks with historic walks and weekend markets. If you want to go further out the Blue Mountains are a train ride away. So is Bondi beach!

In Australia, the Meriton chain of hotels is the best in the Service Apartments category. * Fully equipped spacious rooms * Ease of availability for all amenities * Centrally located making it convenient to reach all tourist, food, and shopping places within 15-20 minutes. A special mention of Jess and Isabel from the Front Office who made our entire stay extremely comfortable. They were very professional and totally helped us with all our requirements.

As I was flying into Sydney for 1 night and catching an international flight the following morning, the hotels location and the fact that a shuttle bus to and from both airports was available made Travelodge ideal for my needs. The facilities were very clean and comfortable and I had everything required. Breakfast onsite was another bonus and reason why I’ll stay atvTravelodge again when next travelling.

Pleasantly surprised after staying 5 nights at 2 hotels in the CBD. Value for money at Stamford far exceeds what you get in the CBD the only draw back is you have to travel to Sydney attractions. If you walk to Mascot Station you avoid the $17 surcharge placed on travel from the airport train station, making the cost of train into CBD a reasonable $4 trip.

We were in Sydney for the weekend from NZ and this was a great spot in the CBD - short walk to train station and close to shops, buses and trams. Very helpful staff, nice clean room - everything you need and compared to other CBD hotels, good value for money. We would definitely stay here again.
