Excellent location and nice bar. Food was very good in restaurant but beware as complicated arrangements for booking breakfast so unable to book on second day. Characterful hotel but tired decor. Ground floor bedroom had dirty net curtains and extensive thick black mould on inside of the bathroom window frames, also stained cushions. It’s a beautiful and unique part of the uk.
It’s a beautiful and unique part of the uk. I think the standard of food and general excellence has declined since the last time we were here in 2019 . I think brexit and Covid has put enormous pressure on tourism. And the standards have dropped. As a Consequence . The bull hotel was lovely and the staff were nice. Also Fairford is a nice little town the Church is well worth a visit very old with wonderful stained glass windows and lots of history. A small town but full of character.
A small town but full of character. St Mary’s church is wonderful with such a helpful church steward who was so informative. We were moved from the room we booked due to a water leak.
We were moved from the room we booked due to a water leak. The room we were moved too was lovely with a huge bathroom to include a double shower and roll top bath. The staff were all very pleasant and happy to help. Breakfast was included in our booking and was very nice. We booked a table for our evening meal which again was a lovely position and the food was very nice although we couldn’t manage a pudding.
