Pizzerias, Chinese takeaways, and Mediterranean tavernas line busy Camberwell Church Street, and art students hang out in Victorian pubs or sprawl on the grass at Camberwell Green park. Myatt’s Fields Park has tennis courts and a kids’ splash pad. The intimate Blue Elephant Theatre stages dance and contemporary drama.
