Comfortable quiet cosy room in a characterful place and nice bath rather than the usual shower in most hotels. A lot of thought had gone into providing everything required. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Good location for Malmesbury town centre.

We were wanting to explore Cirencester and this hotel worked well for that. Not in the centre, but that meant it was quieter. Breakfast was fine.

Frampton Mansel is a lovely little village with interesting church and magnificent countryside views. The pub is ancient, but accommodation is in a new block which is clean and well-kept. The food is excellent.

Our room was amazingly comfortable, bed, duvet, soft towels, and refreshments were all first-class! It was spotlessly clean. The restaurant had a very varied, brilliant menu, with lots of choices for vegetarian diners - thank you! We have booked to stay again very soon.
It's also a short drive into Cirencester and neighbouring towns.
Very pet-friendly!

The countryside is stunning.
The countryside is stunning. The hiking along the canal, through woods and fields, or up to a neighboring village was rreally terrific. Horse, sheep and cow farms, quaint villages, and cafes dot the landscape. The nearby towns of Winchcombe (Belas Knap trail and Sudeley Castle) and Painswick, Tetbury and Old Sodbury are all fun. As are, I'm sure, many that we didn't have time to wander through.
