It's bigger than it looks in pictures and the furniture looks very new. The sofa bed is very comfortable. Straightforward automatic check in and check out. The welcome pack that the host sent was very helpful.

I'm British-American and have lived in London for more than 15 years. I love tennis, rugby, riding and reading, among others. Although, most of my free time these days are taken up by my son. I've been a host in London since 2012 so feel free to ask me any questions you have.

1 bedroom apartment within walking distance to all the attractions, food, theatre, shopping and entertainment that Central London has to offer. Enjoy a modern corner unit flooded with light from two sides and 13 foot ceilings set within a traditional Victorian building. The living room is decorated for comfort with guest convenience in mind and has seating for 4. The large bedroom has a comfortable double bed (140cm x 200cm). Modern kitchen and bathroom and fast, reliable WiFi complete the apartment. - Please note that there are 42 steps to climb to get to this apartment. While this is not unusual for Central London, please do not book if you anticipate difficulty in climbing stairs. - Being on the 2nd floor, the apartment is relatively quiet for Center of London. However, being this central means it will never be 100% quiet.

Neighborhood info

The apartment is located where Bloomsbury ends and Holborn begins. As a result, it enjoys easy access to the different things that these two neighbourhoods are famous for - the vibrancy and buzz of Holborn and the calm garden squares and boutique shops of Bloomsbury. You will be within walking distance to Covent Garden, China Town, British Museum, St. Paul's cathedral, Trafalgar Square and most of the other attractions of Central London. The flat is also within a 15 minute walk from LSE, UCL, King's College and SOAS universities. If you want a little peace and quiet, you can head to one of the many garden squares and parks that the neighbourhood is famous for. Lincoln's Inn, Gray's Inn, Russell Square, Tavistock Square, Bloomsbury Square and Brunswick Square are all within a 10 minute walk away! If you are interested in shopping, both Oxford Street and Long Acre are a 15 minute walk away and Lamb's Conduit with its independent boutiques and English charm is just a few seconds away. As one of the most central neighbourhoods in London, you will have access to vast majority of tube lines, running in all directions, within a 10 minute walk.
