Location is great. Some of the staff was nice but they said the things they did to us was mandated by “management.”

Was impressed with the bedroom, lovely good quality furnishings. The location was ideal 10 min walk to all the shops, and over the road from the river. The food was very good, very reasonably priced, as were the drinks. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Would definitely stay here again, and recommend this hotel.

A lovely B&B, nicely decorated and in a great location at the bottom of town not far off the main street and close to several pubs and cafes. Clean and comfortable room, however two flights of stairs to the top floor can be a challenge for the elderly with luggage. Car parking available is a bonus but the limited spaces mean the hosts have to shuffle cars around which we didn't find to be a problem.

To be honest, we made Shrewsbury a stop off point as we travelled to Wales for a weeks cottage holiday. We stopped on the 'way down' and on the 'way back', to break up long journeys.
However, from our two half days in Shrewsbury it looks like a place for longer stays. The museum and art gallery were very interesting. The shopping areas were very good, with a good mix of larger names (M&S, Sea Salt, White Stuff ...) and independents. There were many eating places, but obviously we weren't able to make use of all but two in the town, both of which were very good.
It looks like a place we will return to!

Shrewsbury is a great town to visit which we do several times a year. Summer time is definitely worth a visit but we go all year round and always enjoy ourselves. Full of history, quirky hotels, bars and restaurants and great for shopping. Umai restaurant is outstanding for us food always delicious. A trip on the river boat highly recommended. Several places to park all within a short distance of the centre.

The town is packed full of historic beautiful biuldings Riverside walk is an absolute must... Town centre to Castlefields especially. The Abbey, castle , and lots of one off shops. Hidden in nooks and crannies are such delights as the old post office the old prison and boutiques.
Don't miss The Dingle gardens as you take the walk.

Shrewsbury there is plenty of places to eat and drink resonable prices
Plenty of shops easy to get around a bit hilly in parts for people with mobility issues. good walks along river bank and in parks plenty of space to wonder if you don't want the town.
Ideally located for visiting the historical and beautiful town of Shrewsbury .Although the hotel was on a main road there was no noise from traffic because of the double glazing. The room, a small suite, was comfortable . The main part of the total , The Abs, which was attached to the hotel is a vibrant and friendly place . The staff we friendly and couldn’t do enough for us and the breakfast was fabulous. I would recommend parking at the railway station a 5 minute walk and £6 for 24 hours. We will definitely be back . 😊
the room we had was not practice. there was a bean at the level of my head, which hit my head every time I went to toilet at night. there was also a column at the knee level which hit my knee every time if I wasn’t careful. there was also a nail sticking out from the toilet floor. all in all, I got so many wounds from staying at the hotel for 2 nights. All the staffs can say was That they will report the problems
The rooms were excellent, beautiful furniature, large comfy bed. The breakfast lounge and breakfast was great. The staff were amazing. So much thought and effort by the management.
Looking forward to my next visit to Shrewsbury. I usually stay in town and have stayed at most hotels but from now on will stay here as I get far more luxury for the money and it is very peaceful.
Good hotel , well located at bottom of Wyle Cop for getting in to Shrewsbury centre in a few minutes.
Room was quite despite being next to the bridge .
Breakfast was really good no complaints only compliments.
Staff were helpful.
Entrance fir car is a bit narrow but if you come in from other side if road you get lined up easily.
Hi would like to thank the hosts for the use of Pippins. We were moving house from Shrewsbury over Christmas to move overseas. The location was perfect for us. The fully equipped home was so perfect. We left a few useful items for them. But everything was great. Thank you so much
This was a great alternative to a hotel room. With this 2 bedroom apartment, although fairly small, it was larger than just a hotel room and had kitchen and laundry facilities which is helpful. It was an easy walk into town and we found a park for the car across the road.
Excellent location for what we wanted.
Idea for a trip to Shrewsbury, West Wales and maybe Portmeirion.
Better than any hotel, better value for money for business or leisure.
It’s even got free on street parking right outside the door.
Easy walk into the town centre.
The location of the hotel is superb being close to Shrewsbury and set in large private grounds. Free access to the Wellness Centre is a real bonus to swim, enjoy a sauna or work out in the gym. Our room was bright, large, well-equipped and comfortable.
The friendliness and approachability of the owners and staff were fantastic. Boutique Hotel, which was very quaint with tasteful decor and delicious food. Excellent location for exploring Shrewsbury
In the heart of Shrewsbury. Situated above a lovely pub/restaurant. The food was outstanding, the (included) breakfast menu had several good choices to meet all palates and diets.
We had a terrace which was a wonderful surprise and obviously gave us extra space, the hotel was in the middle of town so perfect location and the breakfast was excellent.
Good breakfast and perfect location. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Always enjoy my time spent in this hotel. Would recommend to anyone coming to Shrewsbury.
Very comfortable, spacious room. The hotel is in a convenient location for the town and restaurants etc. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Would highly recommend
Breakfast was very good and the setting is lovely. We ate in the restaurant which was very nice and welcome as the hotel itself is quite a way out of Shrewsbury.
