It is steps away from the tube and Tate modern (an art exhibit). Also walking distance to the borough market which is amazing! The host is super helpful and friendly! Would definitely recommend.

Best location in London, overlooking Thames River next to Tate Modern museum and Blackfriars Rail/Tube Station. The view from the living areas is across the river to St Paul's Cathedral. The Southbank Thames River path is outside the door, easy walking distance to all locations from Houses of Parliament to Tower of London. Excellent transport links around London and the UK--10 minute train ride to Eurostar to Europe. Completely renovated July 2017 w/all new appliances, bed and bath, and re-decorated in 2021. The flat is suitable for 1-4 adults, and up to 5 with children. Please note that the check-in deadline is 18:00. I must hire a carer for a disabled family member, so for later check-in a fee of GBP10 for every hour or partial hour after 18:00 will apply. Please note this is a holiday let, not a hotel, and guests are required to leave the flat tidy, all dishes washed and all refuse discarded.
Mark is American-British and Alison is British. We are big fans of theater, music and art, and bought the flat thinking it would be a good place to retire for access to all the things we love. Until then, we are pleased to share our beautiful little flat!
The flat is on the south bank of the Thames, the area is called Bankside. It was traditionally semi-industrial but in recent years has become a trendy arts area along the river. Tate Modern, now one of the great museums of the world and about 50 meters from the front door, was for example an electrical generating plant! The National Theater, Globe Theater, National Film Theater, Old and Young Vic, IMAX theater, and several concert halls are short walks away. Nearly all of the world cuisines are represented! As you can see from the photos we are directly across the river from St Paul's Cathedral, and 25 minutes walking direction to all locations in central London--to the east Tower of London and to the west Westminster are each 25 minutes walk on the Thames Path.
