Located on the second floor of an elegant building, Casa Margherita welcomes you for a pleasant Florentine stay in a lively neighborhood filled with shops, restaurants, pizzerias, cafes, and cocktail bars. Casa Margherita is located just steps from Via Vincenzo Gioberti, known as "the street of a hundred shops," the Florentine shopping street. Casa Margarita is an elegant apartment, accommodating 6 guests, on the second floor (with elevator) of a recently renovated building. It features a spacious living/dining room with a double sofa bed and a terrace, a fully equipped kitchenette, two double bedrooms, and two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom. Casa Margarita allows you to park your car in a reserved space in the building's garage, secured by electronic gates. Casa Margarita is entirely dedicated to guests. Garage parking is included in the price, reserved for guests and always available. The parking space is number A18, which you'll recognize by the Casa Margarita sign.

Frequented by Florentines and tourists alike, the area between Borgo la Croce and Via Gioberti is a small "city within a city." In Florence, everyone knows Via Gioberti and its "hundred shops": a lively neighborhood, packed with shops and cafes, that retains the typical atmosphere of a Florence of yesteryear. The stretch of pedestrian street between Borgo la Croce and Via Gioberti is a favorite among Florentines, both for shopping and for living and working. It's home to artisan shops and boutiques, as well as bars, restaurants, businesses, and professional offices. It's an area close to the historic center, but also very close to the greenery of the Lungarni, where residents go for jogging and walking. This short stretch of street is one of the last places in Florence still in the hands of Florentines and residents. Artisans and small merchants have found fertile ground here for their businesses, creating wooden furnishings, stained glass windows, imaginative ceramics, and clothing. The symbol of the entire neighborhood is the magnolia tree that towers over Piazza Beccaria, whose springtime blooms have for decades accompanied the passage of residents and patrons of this small "city within a city," one of Florence's oldest and most visited shopping streets. Next to the shops are numerous bars and famous restaurants, including the popular craft brewery Articolo 17 and the celebrated Tuscan trattoria Il Giova. Continuing toward Piazza Beccaria, we find the historic Gelateria De' Medici. Heading toward the Cento Botteghe (Cento Botteghe) on Via Gioberti, we encounter the small but well-stocked Antico Forno Giglio, the delicious Pasticceria Serafini, and the historic Pizzeria Luna. Near Casa Gin Tonic, there are two supermarkets, Conad and Coop, easily reachable on foot. On the ground floor of the building, there's an excellent pizzeria called Centocanti. Visit Florence's most famous central attractions, but don't miss this authentic neighborhood.
