We booked this place last minute and stayed in the newer section of the hotel. Overall, it was what we expected. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is a short drive (3-5 min) to San Gimignano city area. We ended up having dinner at the Pode restaurant (which is part of the older part of the hotel. It received a michelin star a few years ago). The food was great and the staff were very welcoming/friendly.

Tenuta Sovestro is an spectacular place: the venue is extremely nice, comfortable, high quality facilities a 7 minute drive from San Gimignano. The restaurant is excellent and breakfast is fantastic. will definitely come back.

I cannot say enough good things about the property or the incredible staff. They went above and beyond to help us arrive and leave safely despite our travel delays and issues. The restaurant was delicious for both breakfast and dinner. We loved wandering the property and just taking in the views. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Breakfast was good. It was busy and at times crowded to get what we wanted at the buffet, but good selection and variety. The hotel rooms are new/updated and was very nice inside. The hotel also sits on a beautiful property with breathtaking views and a laid back feel. The hotel provided a bottle of their own wine and chocolates which was a really nice touch.
