Buckingham Palace

The Crown Jewels lie in the Tower of London, but the Queen’s Guard watches over the head that wears them. Although the role of the red-coated guards is purely ceremonial, join the hordes trying to break their legendary stare – or simply enjoy the pomp and ceremony of the daily Changing of the Guard. In summer, take a tour of the palace’s treasure-filled rooms.

Very beautiful architecture, beautiful flower gardens. if the King is in residence you may be lucky to see him waving to the people/visitor from the Royal balcony, Statues of the former royals, horses on chariots, gift shop for London souvenirs and Royal family’s souvenirs shop close by. So much to see. Walkable distance to many Historic sites and attractions. Not too far from Downing Street (it’s walkable - I did it).

Headquarters of the British Empire's Colonial and Slave-trading operations. Home of the princes' of hearts, Diana, which millions of iditons came to mourn when she parted a glossy life of privilege. Home of a old bag, thankfully departed now. And her son, the Prince with the big eyes. The famous tampino. Nothing to see here, move along.

Firstly, the head doorman here was the star of the show. I am not good with names but he gave me recommendations that never missed. Had a wonderful experience with just him. The room was quiet and had a wonderful view of the London Eye and the River Thames. Bed was comfortable. And on our way out the doorman shined again with having a taxi to take us to Heathrow. Easy walk to the Houses of Parliament, West Minster, Buckingham Palace, and many more.

The hotel is situated near the Victoria station and 15 min walk from the Buckingham palace. Our hotel windows did look at the railroad. One morning I saw a steam locomotive leaving the station! It was very exciting. There are few nice restaurants near by. The hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Location next to Hyde Park and within walking distance to other attractions like Buckingham Palace, Madame Tussauds, or Oxford Street. Loved the interior. The hotel's location is in a quieter area, which is very welcome after a full day of crowd-navigating in London.
