The hotel has a lot of charm and we felt very welcomed here. There are some really nice design touches that make the place feel classy and sophisticated. The spa is really great here - has a very old world, classic feel to it although the facilities themselves are completely modern and work well. This is the first sauna experience I had in Portugal where the temperature was actually correct because it was designed properly. The location is fine if you don’t mind being out of the city and want to have a more chilled experience or see the museums. But it is around a 15/20 min car ride to the city so you need to be aware of that.

It was closed for restoration and covered in scaffolding. But we were able to go up to the top of Monument of the Discoveries, which had a very short line and fantastic view. Also a history of the sardine exhibition that was super interesting.

    Just a share!!

Just a share!! The day I went, I ended up in the middle of a tour group, and Weather from H!!!!! The WIND..... Dear Heavens was sooo bad, and one person from the tour tried to use his umbrella. His friend said What are you doing? As soon as he mentioned it, the umbrella turned inside out, and the wind carried it into the water. We all laughed. Belem Tower is a MUST SEE!!!! LOVE PORTUGAL!

Clean up the rubbish outside the tower on the beach. I think the organisers could coordinate the entry better with groups of ten on each level therefore advising visitors they have 5 minutes or less on each floor and coordinate departure and enterance use of the stairs. The tower is a truly fascinating architectural sight. Situated on the water it invokes a deep sense of romanticism with its fairytale remembrance. Be sure to get there early enough to take a tour and enjoy the small beach while you wait.

Great location, right by Tram stop (line that goes to Belém Tower, Jerónimos Monastery, MAAT), easy walk to Praça do Comercio, Time Out, etc. Building and unit look new and well maintained. It was very clean. It was helpful to have elevator access.
