I liked the excellent professionalism from the staff. Very informative on what is taking place on the premises. My wife liked the option of adjusting the room thermostat to 90 Degrees in Autumn, as she was born with Anemia. The walls are not hollow, so, maintaining a constant room temperature is superb based on the thermostat settings. I booked the room with the King Size bed. My review is based on such quarters. The room is fairly small but, manageable considering the price point.

Everything! I was greeted by a great big smile from the bellman, and receptionist. They are all great asset of the property. Then, the room was stunning! Everything is so perfect!

Great location, good price, amazing service

Room: we LOVED the little kitchenette (with fridge, freezer and microwave) - it makes a tremendous difference to a trip (al those left over restaurant food - NOT going to waste and being able to have hot milk with your first morning coffee). Location: what a PLEASANT SURPRISE, it was even more central than we thought (coming from South Africa and first time in NYC)!!!! This (AND the Room Kitchenette) will make us come back to this hotel over and over again. Breakfast: great system (self serve) and fantastic range - we loved the 'instructions' at the oatmeal station and the beautiful variety of food, fruit, snacks, bread, drinks...I can go on and on! WE ARE FANS!

The design of the hotel, the cleanliness of all areas and the friendly staff. They have a very nice restaurant and bar at the top of the hotel. The breakfast was good as well. The location was great and near Times Square.

Having a kitchenette was very convenient. Had code to access hotel and room after check-in hours.

İt is in the entrance of union city so its like 10 minutes from port authority bus Station and almost every bus goes there so it was incredibly easy to commute to the hotel. Also price is great as well.

Love the empire! Possibly my favourite hotel experience in New York. Always feels like you’re a part of the buzz of Manhattan without being trapped in time square.

It was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice. The restaurant down stairs was outstanding. I would stay there again.

Lovely architecture and charm of the building. Size of the rooms was larger than expected. Location was fabulous. Beds were comfortable and rooms were very clean. Staff were all friendly and the door men were also very helpful.

The location is perfect ! The staff is great and what I like the most is that you get your room clean everyday ! Perfect clean ! I did not have a problem with the elevators. Everything was perfect !
