Lovely stay! Such a lovely room and the bathroom was the cleanest I've ever seen in a hotel! The location is perfect and we had both the breakfast and dinner and the food was stunning! The best was so comfortable and quiet even though it's right in the action. An added bonus was that there is plenty of storage with large window sills in both the bedroom and the bathroom. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying again.

Tge staff were very attentive. The room - Jacobean - was quiet, comfortable and spotlessly clean with a large bathroom. The bedding was lovely and we enjoyed the tea, coffee and treats provided in the room. The breakfast was outstanding, everything you could want was included. Great location with good parking and right in the middle of town.

Absolutely amazing stay with the loveliest staff! We felt at home from the moment we arrived! Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Had cappucinos and dessert in the evening by candlelight in the cozy, beautifully appointed dining rooms. Everyone was so welcoming and accomodating. Cannot wait to come back!

Our recent stay at Feldon Lodges was a delightful escape to the serene beauty of the Cotswolds. Nestled within stunning grounds, the lodges provided a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature's charm. Everyone we interacted with at the Lodges was friendly and courteous making us feel welcomed. The rooms designed with both style and functionality, provided a perfect blend of coziness and comfort, with attention to every tiny detail. Every amenity was thoughtfully provided, and the cozy ambiance made it easy to unwind after a day of exploration. One of the highlights was the fantastic breakfast at the on-site restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed a variety of culinary offerings, from the hot breakfast choices to a buffet of numerous breakfast items. Feldon Lodges offered a perfect retreat in the Cotswolds—beautiful grounds, tranquil surroundings, a golf course view, fantastic breakfast, and rooms designed for ultimate comfort. It's an ideal choice for those seeking a peaceful escape in this picturesque part of England.

Staff was wonderful! Five stars and more! Took extra time to give us an historical tour, showing us Oliver Cromwell's alleged musket holes on the ancient front door and other oddities and delights. Drove our rental car to our room so we wouldn't have to search for it. Made us feel relaxed, welcome, and comfortable. Enjoyed the meals, the pool, and the lovely common areas. My 8 year old daughter and I loved playing chess and drinking tea and hot chocolate while eating dessert in the beautiful lounge, with Katherine Parr's portrait peering down at us. We traveled for a month in the UK and France, and this was our favorite hotel. So much to see and do: swimming, hiking, lounging. My daughter was obsessed with the full-size chess board outside, although we didn't have time to play that set. Compared to where we live in N CA, this place was also a remarkable value! We paid $350 which included the breakfast (there's a wonderful buffet in addition to the hot breakfast), and a 110 pound dinner allowance. You couldn't stay in a Courtyard for that where we live.

The history and buildings were really interesting. Plenty of shops and cafes within easy walking distance. Museums, amphitheatre and art galleries were great. Friendly people and the tourist information was a hit. Wish we had more time to visit the park. It's a lovely village as has numerous nearby villages that are definitely worth visiting. We were looking to have a chat with locals in a pub and weren't disappointed. Everyone we met was friendly to us and we certainly enjoyed the various village pubs we visited. We particularly liked the Blue Boar in Chipping Norton (sitting outside basking in the sun) and Chequers at Churchill - great atmosphere with good food and service. Also close to Diddly Squat and Farmer's Dog which we visited and were lucky enough to meet Gerald at the Farm shop. We didn't go into the shop or the pub but as a visitor we enjoyed the alternate experiences available.

Our stay in Stow-on-the-Wold was charming and peaceful – cobbled streets, cosy tea rooms, and friendly locals at every turn. Moreton on marsh is a beautiful town. There’s a market there on Tuesdays. Great places to eat gorgeous fish and chip bar. The black bear Inn fantastic food. Bellini Italian restaurant fantastic. Stay away from the Thai restaurant (SIAM COTTAGE THAI) cold food which we waited 1 hr and 15 minutes for. Service below poor. Plus if you order soft drinks (J2O) they share the bottle between 2 glasses and charge for 2. We used go guide to see around the Cotswolds Elaine the guide was fabulous we visited many places Bourton on the water, Snowshill where Bridget Jones (first one) was filmed, chipping Campden, Cirencester - Bibury etc

It has everything you need including pubs, a cocktail bar, restaurants, shops, a small mini-market, and the high street is picturesque and atmospheric.
