Jewellery Quarter Museum tour gave a real insight into olden day working methods. Cathedral stained glass is impressive but the building is much smaller than you might expect. Museum and Art Gallery well worth a visit. Really pleased that we caught the last day of the exhibitions at the Ikon Gallery. Not been to "Bimmie" for a long time and was quite shocked by the number of skyscrapers shooting up which are a little overbearing. Found the Metro trams very useful although the main central area sights are easily walkable. If you enjoy shopping you're spoiled for choice.Guest review byEdward - 8.0
Good location for Newmarket race course and the M11.
Good location for Newmarket race course and the M11. the 24/7 bar and kitchen was a pleasant surprise as we didnt get in until 11.30pm from the concert. Breakfast was good but not as good as other IHG hotels I have stayed in. Less choice and the coffee machine that day was not working.Guest review byFrancesSpain - 10.0

Lovely city with the cathedral, art gallery and transport museum to visit. They continue to make improvements to the city centre, and walking around there is really pleasant with the water features and plantation. Plenty of choices to eat and drink.Guest review byWendyUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Wolverhampton is a very nice city, has good restaurants, shopping centre and more. Very easy to get via public transport. There is a indoor soft play and bowling in Mander centre where there is loads of shops and restaurants. We had breakfast at Starbucks and Macdonald's, afternoon tea at M&S and dinner at Nandos. All the food was lovely and brilliant customer service. There's a lovely park nearby, short bus ride, bus num 1, to West park, big play park for the kids, a lake and plenty of space for picnics.Guest review bySB CollSpain - 10.0

A fantastic welcome and excellent service at the bar by ever cheerful and helpful Shannon. Food was fresh and excellent. Pricing strategies a bit confusing because u had to join and download the app! Food & Drinks were too expensive on the normal menu. However happy hour was very reasonably priced. 😊Guest review byMarcUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We went to the Black Country Museum and the Canal Centre.
We went to the Black Country Museum and the Canal Centre. We attempted to go last year, but the weather let us down. If you have any interest in our industrial past then it is quite exceptional. It is a 7 hour drive for us to visit, so we can’t do it every week, but I suspect we will be back again next year. In the Museum, I would recommend the fish and chips, and we have to come back again, because they had run out of the black vanilla ice cream the day we visited! As for the Canal centre, we had no idea, it was spectacular and interesting. Both places were also well organised for disabled access.Guest review bySaraUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Beautiful hotel and location, lovely comfortable and relaxing furnishings and seating. Great breakfast with lots of choices. Room bathroom was dated with poor shower. Not enough catering choice for bitter beer drinkers which was disappointing.Guest review byAndrewUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Good hotel for the price I paid can’t complain at all in fact will recommend and will be return customer for sure. Entrance from the main road to the hotel is bit confusing but I am sure after one wrong turn it will be managed . Breakfast was good had all the options available. Hot sausage Vegan option is available which I did not know at the time of stay. It would be nice to add halal sausage as well Beds were comfortable very nice and clean room but body lotion can be a good addition to the collection.Guest review byJamilUnited Kingdom - 2.0
HORRIBLE ! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!
HORRIBLE ! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! Booked 3 rooms . 1 was a disable room ( It is a disaster waiting to capture another victim ) When i found out , i cancelled that room . I was left with 2 rooms. Got into the room, and it was boiling hot. No AC. I asked and was told that was the only room and that i should manage the room , till the next morning. They got a fan and i told them that i don't do well with a fan. (they pleaded , began to promise an upgrade, free food , if only i could just spend the night . Now this was almost midnight because we got in there very late . I told them that i need to check out . i Called booking.com to in form them , they called the hotel and the hotel told them they had offered me heaven and earth . ( I was cajoled to spend the night there over my safety and comfort ) The next morning , i booked another hotel and checked out . I called booking.com to inform them that i was checking out and booking.com called the hotel back and the hotel told the lady frombooking.com that they would process my FULL refund . Today makes it 2 weeks and this hotel has not refunded my 4 nights stay that i paid in FULL for . They keep passing me around staff after staff. The person responsible for the refund never gets to work till 3pm . A peep into their restaurant is appalling . I am a frequent traveler who looks forward to English breakfast , but i would have fallen ill if i tasted the food. Display of food is an eyesore . Hopefully , this hotel will refund the money that i paid . Their communication is ZERO . Neither has booking.com been of help to recover my refund . This hotel is rubbish . I eventually stayed the rest of my time in birmingham at CLAYTON HOTEL.Guest review byAmy EUnited Kingdom
