  Visiting family in Usk - A wonderful fresh granary loaf for our stay. Very comfy bed, nice linen and plenty room. Nice to have a wood burner for cozy nights in and the location was just home from home for me, perfect (though the hubby thought a bit of a bus man's holiday since we have animals at home) Lovely hosts, would definitely return and have shared the details with family. Great access to owner's fields and a little wood for our very welcomed dog.

  Not a complaint, but note no dishwasher. It was a novelty to wash up! Located in area, difficult to walk on what should be a public right of way opposite the property (think farmer may have tried best to block??) and no safe footpath along the roadside.

  Staff very pleasant On my own but I had supper in lounge. Very tasty. A well humoured group were just leaving after a meal A lady at another table had the best laugh ever. She fairly cheered me up. Really enjoyed my 1st swim in a long time. Might be sn idea to wipe the green mould on the glass door Could be doing with the ceiling being painted

  Felt property a bit tired in places Despite me saying on booking form that I was going to hospital. No one asked how I was. Twice locked out of room. Had to use mobile to call front desk. I had bkd 2 nights& then 1 night. Unfortunately I wasn't told about bedroom lock. Staff did respond quickly

  The apartment exceeded our expectations in every way. It was beautiful and felt luxurious. All mod cons. Faye was wonderful, efficient, very helpful and informative. The location is fantastic. It's a quiet area despite being right next to the main road and the promenade is at the bottom of the street. Will definitely stay there again.

  Welcoming staff at check-in, even though we arrived around 9pm after a long drive. The breakfast was good, hot and cold selections, The bathroom was clean and warm with a shower. Very central location, short walk into the centre. On site parking available.

  The room was very nice and clean, but it was at the front of the hotel and the large windows meant we could hear the road (a fairly busy road) and the room was not quite warm enough. However, we were able to sleep.

  However, we specifically booked a pub so that we could enjoy dinner and a drink in the bar in the evening after a long day’s walk without having far to stumble to our beds. However, on arrival we were informed that the kitchen only opened at the weekend so for our mid-week break we were left pretty stranded. In fact, only 2 pubs served food on Wednesday night and they were both fully booked, the fish and chip shop was closed and we ended up having to drive to another pub 4 miles away.
