The location is perfect for access to Fort William train station to board the Jacobite steam train, the walk is less than 2 minutes. Very close to High Street where there are lots of great pubs and restaurants. The shower was good, beds were comfortable at large. Reception staff were tentative and friendly on arrival. The hotel is old but it has a lot of nostalgia, we loved the creaky floors and all round feel of Faulty Towers 😆

The staff for breakfast lacked professionalism and seemed as though they didn't want to be there. It is a very old hotel that needs a bit of TLC so don't go there expecting a shiny brand new hotel. Our stay was still enjoyable, it just needed a face lift. We stayed 2 nights, got there late the first afternoon, we were on the Jacobite all day the next day and stayed that night, drove to Glencoe the next morning.

The staff are very warming and welcoming made me and families stay a pleasant one and all the staff was lovely to my child and saying hello, morning and waving to my child which i thought was very nice of them, would definitely stay again!!

The shower wasn't to secure and the door kept opening and was making the water go over the floor also the glasses in the bathroom wasnt as clean as i thought they would be and we didn't have bin bags in our bags.

The breakfast was really good - Nice choice of fresh fruit and cereals. Great menu choice and delicious cooked breakfast to order. Pretty room, warm and quiet. Lovely and clean and really comfy bed.

Well I have a few things there was no tea coffee or milk available which is important especially after driving a long way.And the TV in the bedroom was the size of a postage that we were unable to work. Also there was no toiletries such as shampoo etc which you would expect in a hotel room . especially if there was no where close by to get such things !!

Expensive parking,tired materiel,ridiculous security with copying documents & a ‘key’ security charge! I booked through booking.com, you & they know who I am! Door lock in the bathroom coming off,wallpaper peeling, carpet gripper rod raised & too short, luckily had shoes on when I tripped over that! Sign in the bathroom asking to ensure the shower curtain was in the basin(shame it was 10cm short)Chandeliers in the hallway with a single bulb(just change the fitting)! That said the bed was comfy! Considering the price not a great stay!
