The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The location was excellent and the staff were very friendly and we'll informed in relation to the local area. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Bathroom had soft fluffy towels and again was clean with complimentary toiletries. The hotel had a large carpark and we were able to leave our cars even after we had checked out. The hotel is right on the river with bars, shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk. There is a river walk which leads to neighbouring villages. The scenery is beautiful. Breakfast was made to order for hot food. There was fruit, yoghuts and cereal available to self serve as well as tea, coffee and juice.

Although reception and the communal toilets were fresh and very clean, the room was a little tired looking. There is a restaurant and bar within the hotel but we were reccomended to go across the road to the local pub. Although we had everything we needed, it felt as if the hotel was in refurbishment transition.

The location was about 10mins away from the train station (Bath Spa). It was easy to locate and the hotel was very comfortable. The staff was able to accommodate our request for rooms next to each other.

Cleanliness could’ve been better.

Breakfast was not included in my booking but the little cafe they had was quite charming and cozy. The prices weren't so bad, and the staff was super friendly and kind.
Negative section of review
The room was really a more like a micro hotel room. It was very, very small and could only fit the bed (which occupied more or less the entire space) and a small end table. There was of course no room for a desk, so it would be challenging for most business travelers to work there. Essentially it was room to basically shower and sleep and really only suitable for 1 person. The view was to the fire escape, which people used so if you didn't keep the shades up you were quite visible to anyone walking up or down.

The place and where it was a brilliant chalet would recommend as central to different places and friendly neighbours
