  We liked the location because it was out of the city area but still close enough to explore it. It’s a cottage on a small farm/reception venue that offers everything you need. A well equipped kitchen for cooking, good heating, lounge area with TV/streaming and a washing machine. We enjoyed the stay a lot.

  Everything was perfect. The best thing about the property is Rose herself. She is wonderful. Makes you welcome, let's you settle in and provides a warm and comfortable environment. Then to top all that, serves a wonderful breakfast. Thank you Rose, a lovely welcome to England

  10 min drive from Settle. Nice room, has been updated to give a contemporary feel. Lovely bed linen, great shower and nice modern bathroom. Good hot breakfast where staff were friendly.

  The mattress on the bed is wafer thin and has springs that stick up which is rather a shame, especially as the bed linen is so nice. We had Room 4 on the front of the pub, no problem with traffic noise but if you like a dark room, then this room isn't for you. I was awake most of the night because right above the bed on the ceiling is some sort of emergency light and it lights up the room ALL NIGHT ! We ate in the restaurant for dinner, I had the Lasagne which really didn't have any taste. Candles on tables but not lit, bright light shining from the entrance/exit doors of the kitchen - not a very pleasant relaxing dinner and young girl was rather strange in serving. This is all rather a shame because they could make this a more pleasing experience. Having said all that, the pub was busy, so maybe they'd don 't need to :(

  Lots of construction around the hotel which was a bit frustrating when we had prebooked and paid extra for a window seat in cloud 23. I also booked and extra balloon and beer package but the balloons were missing so the surprise was dampened a little. Money off was provided though.
