We stayed here on a Saturday night and the place seems to be as popular as ever, once again the staff here are amazing lovely people, we had such a sweet young person serve us at dinner, very polite and professional but friendly. The hotel is lovely and the room we stayed in Loft 3 was a really beautiful and comfortable room, everything you could need. The mattress was good on the bed and the little decanter with the gin liqueur in was a nice touch. its such a nice place that we have booked another 2 stays as we will be in the area. Breakfast was really good and it was so nice sitting overlooking the garden on a sunny day while we ate it. A good choice of things to chose from on the menu.

The room was very calming and it was lovely looking onto the garden. The host, B, was exceptional and provided us with tea/coffee and even milk! Bottles of water, fruit, nuts, chocolate in the room made for some lovely touches. Couldn’t recommend enough and would happily stay again. There is also the cutest dog and a relaxing pond to sit beside with your morning coffee! Two train stations nearby with a quick route to London Bridge in just over 20 min at £9 for a single!

The room could do with a paint and the mattress has died a death. The historical side of the property is amazing, as is the location. Just overdue a refurbishment.

Room wasnt clean, full of cobwebs and dust everywhere, the view out of the window was a dingy back alley for a bar, my laptop was bigger than the Tv, the walls are paper thin didnt really enjoy listening to the other rooms commotion and the constant slamming of doors, didnt know that the pub next door has constant gigs on until the early hours, making sleep elusive, appreciated the free parking but it is a walk away from the place The door didnt feel very secure, very fllimsy, and didnt trust valuables being left in the room

Great location, large well furnished room, comfy bed.

The noise from downstairs does travel and so it isn’t quiet until the bar closes.

Location was good, parking was useful

Mattress was old and stained, and springs were sticking into our backs and needed replacing. Probably one of the worst mattresses I have seen in a hotel room. On entry, the building was run down and the large room used as a dumping ground made a poor first impression. Poor value for money considering the state of the bed. Very bad practice requesting to store credit card numbers upon check in, with no explanation of why (never had to do this before and will be alerting the bank to unsecured details)
