The Punchbowl was a real find for a 2 night stay to visit Oxford as it was within easy reach of transport in. A good welcome and finding a FAB looking room was a great start, Apart from super customer service from the team and being in the delightful Woodstock village, I have to highlight that the food offer was exceptional !! from the simple Scampi option (that enticed me to eat the salad???) to the Absolutely Magnificent (at £12.50, it had better be) Breakfast, which was easily in my top 3 EVER !! OMG, you are in walking distance of the free part around Blenheim Palace lakes.....stunning. (Green gate)

Parking could be a "pickle" unless you were Charming to the team, so , no problem for me :-) The rules about everything were very firmly reminded at every juncture, which is indicative of their previous encounters. The value added option of being given a room specific Thermos flask of fresh milk for the next morning`s early cup of tea was a touch of Pub class !!

The property is in an excellent location and it's super cute. The only reason we didn't rate it 10 is that the courtyard could do with a little sprucing up. The property is compact, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again! Go to Wheldrakes for breakfast! Great value, food and service.

Just the courtyard. Although it's small, it would benefit from weeding and maybe adding a comfy bench or better seats.

Absolutely perfect! So clean and spacious with everything you need! Will absolutely be staying again when using the airport as we also used the parking here too and Ben was more than helpful with anything at all we needed.

Couldn’t fault it whatsoever

It was very close to the friends we were visiting in Falmouth, it was very spacious and whole the area has a lovely peaceful feel to it

Access can be a little tricky, g-maps took us to the wrong location and as the area is a bit spread out that didn’t help. That being said, we were able to chat with some staff members who were able to point us in the right direction

The location was fairly central and the staff were really friendly.

Overall the decor is tired and would say the hotel would benefit from a renovation.

The toilet didn't flush when we arrived. Staff were told about this twice, no one had a look. So the private twin room we booked to save us sharing a bathroom didn't go to plan. Only fortunate thing was that there was a ladies washroom opposite our room which we then had to us for using the toilet
