  This was our 3rd stay at this hotel which should be an indication that we like it. It is a charming place, ideally situated for visiting Orkney or just travelling the NC500, both of which we have done. The hosts ate extremely helpful and obliging and the food is delicious.

  Location. Ideal for the surrounding area that we wanted to look at. Parking is easy, it's right outside of the door. Also it had most things that we needed facilities wise.

  Very small. Even for 2 people. Only spent 2 nights but found it a bit tricky to put our stuff anywhere. Also, in the space of 2 days we found at least 15 wood louse crawling around. A few bugs don't bother me, I just picked them up and washed them down the sink but my daughter wasn't keen. I think that is something that needs addressing.

  We loved our room which has an ensuite. It was extremely clean and comfortable. The dinner at the hostel was lovely. The staff were very friendly.
