Location excellent for bars, restaurants, transport . My initial room 27 was very noisy from outside noise. When I enquired about the possibility of moving to a quieter room they gave me room 73 which was satisfactory. Though some nights I was awakened by noisy guests which of course is no fault of the hotel.

The house was very sweet - attractive, clean, well furnished and equipped and in a great location tucked away in the middle of Newlyn. Beds, towels, linen were good. Kitchen was well equipped. Bathroom large and attractive. But...

We have a very serious concern about the staircase in this property which is extremely dangerous and difficult to navigate. We think anti-slip strips should be added to the stair treads which are very narrow. I fell all the way down the stairs on my first day and was left full of bruises and lucky not to have broken anything. With its current slippery painted surfaces the staircase is not really fit for purpose - and it would be even more problematic for older visitors or small children. This should be flagged in the property description - but we also think the stairs should be modified to make them less slippery and dangerous. Otherwise the place was great.

Entrance from the North terminal. Large rooms, well equipped and comfortable. Perfect choice for late arrival or early departure. Good spread for breakfast.

The staff were all friends and pleasant with the sole exception of one of the breakfast room staff who goes by the name of Alessandro. Couldn’t wait to start clearing the breakfast over 15 minutes before the advertised finish time. When challenged he was arrogant, dishonest, obnoxious and plain rude. He shouldn’t be anywhere near paying customers.

We stayed in room 5 and unfortunately the music that is played downstairs/outside could be heard clearly in our room and it didn't stop until 11pm, as we had an event to attend at 5:15am the next day we weren't able to get an early night as hoped
