Stayed a couple of nights with my wife for a short break in the country. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean with provided tea and coffee making facilities. Staff throughout the inn were extremely friendly and helpful. The provided breakfast was excellent and hearty. Dined two evenings in the restaurant - food was excellent and very good value. Very happy with stay and would highly recommend to others.

The room was beautifully fitted out and very comfortable with everything you could need including fresh milk and a cafetiere and ground coffee to make proper coffee. The breakfast was lovely too - very generous with quality ingredients. We recommend this for an overnight stay. It was perfect as a stop on our way back home.

Breakfast is quite poor, the sofa bed was quite narrow for 2 persons, the bathroom has only a certain for shower, so all the water was on the floor, smell of dust in the room

Lift didn’t work well and refused to work even with a few people on it. Also long cues to get in the lift at checkout/ breakfast time etc. Took stairs at one point but clearly not meant for guest use.

Uncomfortable bed, and one very small, threadbare hand towel. (It literally had holes in it. Maybe just about usable as a dog towel, but it certainly isn’t at the standard any hotel should provide for guests.) Staff promised a partial refund but that didn’t happen.
