Very friendly welcome upon arrival. Great location for the town, pubs, and restaurants. Room 2 was nice and quiet and had plenty of plug sockets for charging phones, etc. The bed was very comfortable. We liked the quirky wallpapers throughout the property. The bar area had a good atmosphere with a lovely courtyard, which we would have used had the weather been better. Breakfast was well cooked. We liked the fact that the tables were well spaced. We were lucky and got a parking space right outside the hotel. We like walking, and the hotel is literally on the coast path. We walked to Whitstable from the door. Faversham itself has lots of historical buildings, and we feel it is well worth a visit. If we return, we will definitely stay at the Quay Hotel.

There was nothing really that we didn't like. It would have been nice to have coat hooks in the room hallway. A vegan cooked option at breakfast, but I bet the chef would have accommodated us if we had asked. The outlook from inside the bar area out is a bit run down, with what looks like a disused commercial building opposite, but there is not much that the hotel can do about that.

Location was perfect for what I needed. The place is immaculate, underfloor heated, hepa filtered air, great shower, lovely hosts, and one of my personal favourites, a smart TV. Nothing negative to say and would definitely stay there again. Can't recommend highly enough. If you want a nice place to eat, there is one 5 mins down the road that the host will tell you all about.

I booked a double and was given a twin, i asked to change and the staff agreed i should of had a double but they were full. I was told i would get some money back on check out, just tell the staff in the morning and they will give me a good will gesture back to a card, i did this in the morning and i was told the manager wasnt present so they would call me, i recieved no call. The bed was also poorly made and the sheets werent big enough so the nights sleep was not good.

Though the place is a little run down, it was clean and the bed was comfortable.

It was on top of the highest point so for those not keen to walk or do stairs it would be difficult to walk to town.
